I love the drag-and-drop functionality for assigning tasks and the overall UI is an eye-pleaser. To be honest, I first checked this software out because I liked the logo!).
As a tool for managing ones time it is totally pointless - adding tasks takes far too long and isn't easily editable rendering it eventually useless.
We love how easy this is to use, how it integrates with basecamp and how much more organised we are with it. The fact it offers a free plan for up to two users is fantastic.
As well, if the task list has to adjust (because of reprioritization, sick days, etc), these recurring task need to be manually updated and move again.
Very good project planning application where you can follow up in real time a team project. Has a beautiful interface with the user easy and comfortable to use.
Sometimes it has some bugs, such as when we transfer a task for some people that is not at that project. In spite of alert us, the system desorganize all the tasks order.
Workstack is a great tool we have adapted to for our use of workflow on client projects. The best thing about it is that it synchs with basecamp.
If I need to reassign a project to a different team member, I can simply drag it to their name, and it will re-assign within Basecamp.
It's been super helpful to keep myself focused and devote the time I should each week to each project.
For me, the only downsides have occurred after user error. If you forget to start or stop the timer, it's rather difficult to edit your time within the app.
Clockify has been a great tool added to our toolbox for Customer Success. Being able to have an immediate overview with dashboards and reporting helps me lead my team effectively.
I didn't use it then, but when our time tracking software turned into a frustrating mess of lost time entries, slow loading, and mis-calculated weekly times, I gave it a shot.
Easy access, good fast performance to install and use, giving a good advantage to the user and the company.
The times of lost hours are gone. I have a clear overview and know with a couple of clicks how much time I spend on each project and even know what my client has to be charged.
Clockify is affordable, simple to set up, and straightforward to use. It has several fantastic reports that you can customize to be as detailed as you'd like.
We create web software for a living, and we were so confused by much of the reporting that we couldn't determine what accurate numbers would be.
Speaker 1: Hello, my name is Diego I'm the CEO at Denta AI, and my five star rating for Clockify if five out of five. Okay, so at Denta AI, we do consultancy. We are quite straight out in terms of partnerships, so we have to keep track of the time allocation of each one of our partners, and also inside the organization, so we need a tool that allows us to keep track of our time dedication, and also, it's the basis for our billing and budgeting to our end clients. So what we love about Clockify is extreme ease of use. It's very, very streamlined in terms of keeping track of which task are you being working on and which task or project you have been devoting your time to. You can do it several ways, and so some people just do it at the end of the day and they just keep track of the time devoted to each task, and maybe copy paste from the day before and modify. Or you can do it online and you can make the computer clock it directly, or even you can let the app monitor your use of the computer and then add up the time to each task. You can do that at the client project or task level, which is very convenient. So what I see as small room for improvement is there are three levels you can keep track of your time. Those are client, project, and task, and sometimes you might get a bit misled or mixed up between the three levels. So maybe the app could do something in terms of clarifying or providing default behaviors for the things you most usually are repeating.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
