It's fantastic to use, when you pay to unlock all the features it can make a lot of admin jobs very easy, it's just a little expensive for the smaller business.

Pros

It offered a lot of customization and flexibility when designing, distributing and editing contracts, waivers and other documents.

Cons

The cost is quite high to unlock all the features and for a small business that requires waiver forms and other signable documents there are cheaper alternatives.

I've stopped using Adobe Acrobat. It's a powerful tool and in unique scenarios I still use it, but the frequent UI changes throw off my workflow and add inefficiencies to my business.

Pros

It's included in the Adobe Cloud subscription, which I use frequently. It's easily accessible and arguably one of the most powerful PDF editors on the market.

Cons

Acrobat used to be a core tool for my business. Every contract was signed through it. However they keep changing the interface, and it doesn't necessarily improve anything. Things that used to take one click now take 2-3. Buttons are in different places. It threw off my whole workflow so now I use Dropbox Sign.

Switched from

[DigiSigner](https://www.capterra.com/p/151821/DigiSigner/)

I found out Adobe Sign was included in my Creative Cloud subscription—and it was the best design and ease of use out of anything I've tried.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat - Espacially the Pro Version - is probably THE go-to PDF Reader and Editor. When introducing this into our Ecosystem as an Professional Tool, nobody wants to miss it anymore. The Ease of Editing PDF Files, Filling out, Signing and More is insane. The Value what youre getting for your Money is acceptable.

Cons

The Integration into difficult and potentially old Ecosystems is pretty difficult. You have to find Versions that support your Ecosystem. Also the Integration with Signservices, Certificates and more is more difficult than someone might expect. Documentation is mostly based on Community Forums, which makes things often not easier.

Pros

I like that it’s easier to use, able to make anything into PDF, also that if anything needs to be edited out, it’s really self-explanatory

Overall, my experience with Adobe Acrobat has been very positive. It’s a powerful tool that supports my business operations, especially when it comes to contracts, invoices, and document organization. While there are minor performance issues and the cost could be more competitive, the value it provides in efficiency and professionalism makes it worth it. It’s definitely a staple in my business toolkit.

Pros

What I like most about Adobe Acrobat is its ability to streamline document workflows. Being able to edit PDFs, request signatures, convert files, and manage documents all in one place is a major advantage. The e-signature feature is especially valuable for my business, as it allows me to move deals forward quickly without delays. I also appreciate how professional and polished documents look when sent to clients. I also use it personally on a day to day basis. It also integrates with my phone and I am able to use it and have access to it at my fingertips

Cons

The biggest downside is the pricing—it can be a bit high, especially when you start adding additional features or users. There are also moments where the system can lag or feel a bit heavy, particularly when working with larger files. Some features are not as intuitive as they could be, which creates a slight learning curve.

Absolutely let's put it all together so if I had to sum it up I'd say my whole experience with Adobe acrobat has been kind of expect on one hand you appreciate the customization options it offers for managing your projects and tasks but on the flip side there are a few hiccups sometimes the file conversion can be a bit finicky and you might run into the occasional bug overall it's a balance between having those flexible tools.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat blows me away with how intuitive it is for editing PDFs you're getting a ton of functionality without a huge learning curve in terms of value for money it's not the cheapest tool out there but you do get what you pay for in terms of reliability and advanced features and the customer support is definitely a plus.

Cons

Could be that sometimes it does feel a bit resource heavy which might slow things down on older systems and another thing is file conversion well it's usually pretty solid every now and then you might run into a hiccup or a format doesn't convert perfectly or there's a bit of a glitch it's not super common but it's something to keep in mind.

I've had a very positive experience with Adobe Acrobat. It's very easy to understand, it's also been a blessing to combine PDF files instantly and quickly and has compressed files to an ideal storage amount. As a designer i have been really impressed with the quality the PDF have been exported to from a visual and a storage wary point of view.

Pros

Acrobat made the use of sending files, documents, and mock-ups a simple task to what seemed a challenge before. The use of free tools and open documents made any visually document a roll of the dice when shared to another. The simple to use software made documents export in high quality, and became easy to navigate in a few simple steps.

Cons

Adobe Acrobat does have it's own limitations, and that includes when those receiving the files don't posses the software then they aren't able to make any edits of their own too the PDF, and in some cases can't open the file themselves. Although this is understandable, it can become a boundary when working in a fast pace environment.

How Capterra ensures transparency

Capterra lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. Capterra is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider's website.
