The customer service is amazing and that is what makes this product great, so if you don't understand something you are connected with amazing custom service team.
There always seems to be some annoying glitch going on with this software. First its pushing the wrong prices to airbnb.
I love that everything is super easy to understand. I love that it syncs with exactly the channels I need -- Airbnb, HomeAway/VRBO, and Booking.com.
Blocked dates of my listings on airbnb and booking even though I deleted their app. Sites are unable to adjust dates to available without Porter assistance.
The setup was easy the support is great, and the daily use and reporting are great for me. It was just what I was looking for, and the price works really well for me.
The calendar layout is hard to read, graphics , feels clunky. Hard to access information you need.
My cleaning staff likes that they can see a calendar link and that they can get text notifications. Not sure how much it helps, but I appreciate that they have some tools to improve rankings.
The website can be difficult to navigage at times.
We have had a great experience. It has served our small company well and customer service has been fantastic.
The UI is really hard to read (tiny font, it's really hard to distinguish between properties on their calendar, the design is actually harder to read quickly than a spreadsheet would be).
The support team are excellent and have been helpful from the beginning. I love that the team are improving their software all the time based on what customers require.
No Android app, some problem with MLOS sync with Pricelab.
We have particularly loved the guest interface and the ease to switch over from our existing systems. We also really appreciate the help desk feature and get responses to our queries quickly.
I can really only say that the one negative is that currently you can’t view the entire month at once.
Additionally, I have been VERY impressed with the customer support. They are knowledgeable and very helpful, and they respond quickly to inquiries - and that is essential.
It's not about "cons" and what's least to like, it's about how the team deal with it. And for that, I have no negative comments.
Matthew F.: I'm Matthew. I'm the owner of The Lens Lodge. And I give Guesty For Hosts a 5 out of 5. Before Guesty For Hosts, I was just doing everything manually, and so it was taking a lot of time, answering all the guest questions, taking any inquiries that came in, responding to all the messages. And I basically just used Guesty For Hosts to automate the messages, and that saved me a bunch of time. I chose Guesty For Hosts, honestly, because it had great reviews and a YouTuber that I follow called Robuilt recommends it. And he is super good at Airbnbs, and he used them for all of his. And I kind of trust his judgment on that. Getting started with Guesty For Hosts was not too hard. The main thing that just took time was setting my automated messages, which is crafting those messages. But getting it set up to the platform was super quick, very easy as well, and pretty much had it up and running within a couple hours. All right, the recommendation that I would give, whether you're going to get Guesty For Hosts or another software, would be to go with Guesty For Hosts, simply because there's a lot of other softwares out there, but most of them are cheaper and harder to scale up with. So, if you do want to scale up your business, I would start with Guesty For Hosts. That way you can become familiar with the platform when you have a smaller number of properties and it'd be easier to scale up from there.
Vee: Hey, I'm Vee, I'm a property manager with HNFC Stays. We're a short term accommodation provider in England. We have five employees, five contractors, and we rate Uplisting four. When we've had only two properties we realized we need some sort of a channel manager, because it's really hard to maintain all your listings on Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO. And Uplisting, it's very easy to implement, has a good price, and it was our first choice, to be honest. So the reason we chose Uplisting, is because a colleagues of mine who actually does, they own short term rental business suggested. So we thought, okay, we're gonna give it a try. And then as I said, it's very simple to use. Integration is very simple. The customer support is great. It's probably one of the best features of having Uplisting. They're always happy to support you there, and the whole process was very smooth. So starting with Uplisting is pretty easy. Yes, there are a few things you don't know how to do. Yet, if you reach out to a support team, a live support team, which is really important, they will get back to you within five to 15 minutes, and then they will resolve all the queries. Also, you have a big platform forum, where you're going to search the questions with very detailed step by step video how you can do it yourself. So I'd say Uplisting is more suitable for small business owners who are actually just starting out the short term management or property management business. I would say it's good for up to 15, maybe 25 properties max, because after that you probably need a more sophisticated software. Because with Uplisting, they're still an early startup and they need to implement a lot of new features that currently in the development, but it might take a while before it actually gets to your business.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
