We have had a great experience. It has served our small company well and customer service has been fantastic.
The UI is really hard to read (tiny font, it's really hard to distinguish between properties on their calendar, the design is actually harder to read quickly than a spreadsheet would be).
The support team are excellent and have been helpful from the beginning. I love that the team are improving their software all the time based on what customers require.
No Android app, some problem with MLOS sync with Pricelab.
We have particularly loved the guest interface and the ease to switch over from our existing systems. We also really appreciate the help desk feature and get responses to our queries quickly.
I can really only say that the one negative is that currently you can’t view the entire month at once.
Additionally, I have been VERY impressed with the customer support. They are knowledgeable and very helpful, and they respond quickly to inquiries - and that is essential.
It's not about "cons" and what's least to like, it's about how the team deal with it. And for that, I have no negative comments.
The user interface was modern and appealing to the eye. The optional web site design with sign up feature is awesome and a great value.
The Airbnb integration was plagued by issues such as poorly sized photographs due to a kigo error.
I loved working with our rep. She was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. She has been super helpful and easy to work with.
Now all that being said all the functionality is there - It is just confusing, buried and difficult to find.
Great channel manager and very clever system to manage house keepers & guests. Romain our client manager is fantastic.
This glitch and the horrendous customer service has been a devastation to our business. We have spent somewhere around 20 hours emailing and calling for assistance and end up at square one each time.
The support team at Kigo is the best. Super informative and totally great when it comes to customer service.
But after 2 weeks using it, we saw some wrong pricing and switch it off. Except the bug, there are 2 bad points for this pricing engine.
Vee: Hey, I'm Vee, I'm a property manager with HNFC Stays. We're a short term accommodation provider in England. We have five employees, five contractors, and we rate Uplisting four. When we've had only two properties we realized we need some sort of a channel manager, because it's really hard to maintain all your listings on Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO. And Uplisting, it's very easy to implement, has a good price, and it was our first choice, to be honest. So the reason we chose Uplisting, is because a colleagues of mine who actually does, they own short term rental business suggested. So we thought, okay, we're gonna give it a try. And then as I said, it's very simple to use. Integration is very simple. The customer support is great. It's probably one of the best features of having Uplisting. They're always happy to support you there, and the whole process was very smooth. So starting with Uplisting is pretty easy. Yes, there are a few things you don't know how to do. Yet, if you reach out to a support team, a live support team, which is really important, they will get back to you within five to 15 minutes, and then they will resolve all the queries. Also, you have a big platform forum, where you're going to search the questions with very detailed step by step video how you can do it yourself. So I'd say Uplisting is more suitable for small business owners who are actually just starting out the short term management or property management business. I would say it's good for up to 15, maybe 25 properties max, because after that you probably need a more sophisticated software. Because with Uplisting, they're still an early startup and they need to implement a lot of new features that currently in the development, but it might take a while before it actually gets to your business.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
