Tithe.ly provided wonderful materials to help me convince my governing board that we needed online giving, and that Tithe.ly could provide that solution in a secure and cost-effective way.
There are TONS of missing features and functionality, and this isn't disclosed or known until after you've made the conversion and are in too deep to switch again.
Customer service is always fantastic to deal will which helps when I have questions on how to do things.
The way the deposits are done in accounting software can be a confusing.
I love that when we put in the events on the website it automatically transfers over to the app. Customer service is awesome.
Almost NO integrations with other platforms. No form data sent to admins when forms are completed.
Here everyone has access to it & learning it & learning new features are very simple. You can't beat the price anywhere so it really a win win for all.
Current integration with ChMS is buggy. No notification when someone gives.
What I like best about pro presenter is that the company is constantly improving and updating their product.
We have implemented this software with a team primarily made up of volunteers, and it is a struggle at times for them to troubleshoot issues that arise beyond basic problems.
The live steaming of the app is so good that i will count it at the top in the things that i liked the most. The church management is very easy with propresentor.
If I had to pick anything to dislike about this software, it would have to be license restrictions.
I like the ease of use and visual cues. I also like how you can set up how you like and it customized for your needs.
I'm disappointed, and am testing other software to potentially replace ProPresenter at our Church.
I love how easy it is to set up and hand off to a volunteer to operate. The best part about propresenter is how easy it is to use, but how flexible the software is.
If your graphic is too large, it doesn't always display as a thumbnail and takes an extra second or two to fire.
Speaker 1: Hi, my name's Joe. I'm the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Jasper, Indiana. We've been using Tithe.ly for a few months now and everything that we've used with Tithe.ly, I would give them a five out of five. Before Tithe.ly, we used two different programs. We used Wix, which is a much more complex system to put a website together if you're not very technologically prone. And then we switched over to Faithlife, which was a good fit for us, but Faithlife unfortunately ceased operations and we had to find another fit for our website and Tithe.ly was a very good fit for that. It filled all the holes that we needed. It was a very plug-in play, but still built a very nice website and had backend features that were very helpful to us. We chose Tithe.ly first and foremost because it had the features that we needed. It has background checks built into the system so that we don't have to have a third party provider and keeps track of those things for us. It also has a built-in system to keep track of both our members and those who work on different parts of our ministry. The other part that is very nice about Tithe.ly is the built-in easy-to-use sermon loader that we don't have to mess with, we don't have to think about, and automatically builds that feed for us. And the final consideration for us was price. There are several other companies out there doing very similar things to Tithe.ly, but we felt the price point and what we needed from the system really was a perfect match for us. It was very easy to start with Tithe.ly. They give you two options to start with. You can either move your website or build your website fresh with them. We chose to pay a few hundred dollars so that they could just take our existing website and build it into their platform so that it really was a pretty seamless transition and doesn't look any different than it did the week before we had Tithe.ly. So on the outside, no one can even tell that we've switched providers and that was a very helpful service for us. We're very glad to have used it that way. I would say if you're considering Tithe.ly or one of the other options specifically catered to church websites and background that they're worth talking to, they're very glad to talk to you on the phone or on a Zoom chat and they answer all the questions that you're going to need to know. The final thing that I would say is, if you're looking for an all in one platform, they're the closest you're going to get as far as I understand, including giving website people, all of that put together into one package. It's really what made Tithe.ly a perfect fit for us.
Daniel J.: Hi, my name's Daniel. I'm at South County Bible Church. I'm the Associate Pastor here. We've been using ProPresenter for about 10 years, and I'll give it four out of five stars. We use ProPresenter every week, although not on a day-to-day basis. We use it for projecting lyrics and video content in our sanctuary on Sunday mornings. We also use it for rehearsals, but that's just for preparing for that Sunday service. What we like most about ProPresenter is that it just works for the most part. You can import all kinds of different content. It connects to a lot of the different services like SongSelect and other places that you can subscribe to that'll help you create your slides easier. It seems like no matter what kind of file I throw at it, ProPresenter can read it. In the last couple of years as the new versions of ProPresenter have come out, they've switched to a subscription base. The good thing about that is that they do seem to have a lot of new content and a lot of new features as time has gone on, and it works for the most part. They do seem to release updates so quickly that sometimes I feel like they aren't completely bug tested because we've had to, probably three times in the last year, we've had to roll back to a previous version because the new stuff they've added doesn't work right away. We've had to implement a test and see rather than just update. To be honest, the cost every year to subscribe is pretty prohibitive. Thankfully, our church is financially able to do that, but it used to be you'd buy it and it would just work for three or four years and then you'd buy the new version, so paying every year is a little bit of a burden.
