Classter fits institutions of all shapes and sizes—K12 schools, universities, academies, private schools, and corporate training programs.
K-12 public, charter, independent/private schools and districts. Used by Administrators, teachers, parents, and students.
Engagement with the students becomes easy and effective. The best thing about Classter is that it is easily integrated with Microsoft Office 365 which is a big plus point.
User Experience is bad & Application almost useless. We had to do debugging numerous times, as things didn’t work properly.
Overall it was positive, we had a great video call with a memeber of Classter, who was very helpful and informative. We found it fairly easy to work out how to change and adapt this.
It suffers from glitches very so often and sometimes the format can change.
I really appreciate that Classter has been flexible to customize functions so they suit our needs perfectly, it has been so helpful.
Some features need to be automated since in some cases, there are steps that are forgotten such as the updating of a synoptic mark on the grade book.
Has everything you need in one place and is very cost effective. Management is easy and has a lot of features that integrate well with other platforms like Clever since they have an SMS.
File manegement and reporting seems difficult.
The ability to customize the SIS product with PowerSchool and third party vendors is a nice feature. It's ability to integrate with other education products is also a strength.
There is no symbol that calculates as a 0 but is a notification for absentees. Instead, they see the 0 (even if I have the green absentee symbol next to it), and automatically think, "That's it.
PowerSchool is a great tool for both me and my child. It is easy to navigate and displays perfectly on mobile devices.
The software was hard to navigate and the teacher comments were not easily viewable. Overall, I found the software disorganized.
My husband and I would check it from time to time and we found it was a good conversation starter to let them know how proud we were of their improvement, progress etc.
I struggled to find the specific reports I need and often have to "made do" with something that is close to what I'm looking for.
I like how PowerSchool helps integrate all the resources in one place. It is very easy to add multiple students in one account itself, like siblings from the same family.
If your periods are coded as different Classes by your District, you will be forced to open, close, enter grades, repeat... over and over for each separate class.
