A complete video delivery and monetization platform for broadcasters, publishers, and advertisers.
YouTube users, video creators, artists, advertisers, businesses, developers.
It's extremely robust and the API is better than any other player I've used which makes it a great choice for customization.
It does not work very well. More "YouTube-like" when it comes to adding a clickable link to me, is a key component missing.
Its nice flash video player for your own site or blog. Customizable and and also have free version which is good.
This happens even on the fastest of Internet connections. Inexplicable Crashes and Error Screens that abruptly stop playback, which can happen even on video files that are not corrupted.
So this JW Player helps me to watch movies, Music videos online as well as downloaded ones. It is very easy to handle and also the interface is very attractive and very eye favorable.
A number of formats I tried seem to quite clunky and did not play back as smoothly as I hoped. When introducing 4K, the problems got worse.
Overall experience with Video Hosting was good. From uploading videos to Analysing the Audience engagement, were all easy and reliable.
Even their support team members told us that they understood that our international customers are having a bad time and it makes sense for us to move on.
I've been on youtube for over 6 years now with over 140,000 subscribers, and man it is great. I love how they take care of the community, and improve day after day.
YouTube deletes and restricts content based on political opinions which is quite bad. At the same time they allow adult content in various forms often with no restriction.
I love it’s audio and visual quality, I love how it enables content creators to stream live and fans to show appreciation by leaving a like and provide feedback in the comments section.
The only downside of youtube they allow too much mess on it.
My overall experience with YouTube has been outstanding in helping me reach a more diverse crowd of viewers to my pages which in turn help my business grow even faster.
I have to only use no copyright music. It also bothers me when I'm watching some movies because Youtube mutes some parts of the movies if they have copyright music.
We appreciate the ability to reach our students and external stakeholders in a familiar interface. YouTube produces quality videos that adapt to different platforms and Internet connections.
Sometimes the troubleshoot required to buffer a 1080p video is frustrating. Removing dislike button is a huge con.
Bryan C.: Hi, I'm Bryan. I'm a digital and video specialist, and I give JW Player a four out of five. If you want to see other reviews, click below. We use primarily JW Player for storing and hosting our videos that we play on our websites. We have eight different brands and so there's a lot of... We break it down into different levels, and primarily it's to monitor, upload, use all the links, also to track how many views are being taken and so forth. One of the things I really like is recently, within about the past year, they updated their GFI in their dashboard. At first, I was a little dubious about it because you know how you get used to certain things. But actually it ends up being... It's works out really, really well, and it's easy to move around and find what you need. The one thing that JW Player kind of falls down a little bit on is that they don't really have a good way of putting a URL, active URL, in the video. They do, but you could put a logo up at the top right or top left, or you can put some text, but there's very little leeway. You can't move it around. You can't make it bigger.
