Which is a great thing. I am highly recommending that all new professionals participate in the Samsara Platform training with in the Transportation industry. Pros The ease of usage while learning the platform overall. The training video and course work is self explanatory. Customer support when something goes wrong is on top of the issues an resolve them in a timely fashion for continued use of all platforms within Samsara. Cameras and video quality is exceptional and precise. The tracking system within Samsara has help in locating assets that would have otherwise been lost. Cons Some of the reports That I use could be better when looking for a specific driver or asset. Sometimes comes up with driver or asset not found. Then when I refresh the screens or restart those assets or drivers come right to the top. It’s simple, reliable, and doesn’t overcomplicate things. A couple of small issues here and there, but nothing that really affects daily use. Pros Didn’t expect much, but this turned out really good. The video quality is clear, setup was easy, and the tracking works smoothly. Definitely worth the money. Cons Night video could be a bit better. App/UI feels slightly basic at times. My Safety Manager \[sensitive content hidden\] is the primary user for the system. He collects and provides the information he receives for the Samsara system. As our Fleet Manager we use the Fleetio system with the Samsara system. Pros I appreciate that the Samsara system works with our auto integrate system by Fleetio. The Samsara Tracking, AI Camera, and Driver Report Card are all great tools and features. Cons The tape or adhesive used for the windshield camera mounting comes detached at times from the heat. Mechanics often disconnect the Samsara brain from the OBD port. Drivers often do not plug it back into the port which causes delays in receiving vehicle information.
