B2 Cloud Storage is the easy choice for more than 85,000 organizations including Patagonia, UCLA, Fortune, and Streamlabs for backup, active archive, and application storage needs.
For small, medium, and large businesses looking for an enterprise-grade solution to secure their data.
It's fast and reliable and provides me a huge piece of mind. I love how it automatically backs up what I specify and is so affordable.
We have lost a couple of machines to ransomware so rather than giving in to the criminals we just turned to Backblaze.
I don't even realize it's happening, but seeing the reports of your backup is heartwarming. Knowing every computer regardless of platform is backed up is fantastic.
Another thing I didn't like much is that I can't just upload folders, they have to be created on backblaze first, rather than just drag n drop to make things move faster (and avoid human error).
The most important thing is the cost, you can invest a single annual figure and enjoy many benefits, that's the most attractive, I think many will opt for this platform in a short time.
The one time I needed the software to actually work for a backup it failed. It was not able to retain my existing backup when I had to reinstall Windows 10 on my desktop.
It has been an overall great experience, having peace of mind in my day to day that everything is backed up online.
Backup your data automatically, just install and forget.
One touch recovery is the best feature in it. Best for the replication, Admin Console Dashboard is Good.
Deployment is hard, Troubleshooting on the errors are very hard.
Metallic's support and success teams are receptive and helpful. We have been Commvault customers for many years and their support team has always impressed us.
Documentation is somewhat limited. IP filtering is not currently an option.
My overall experience with Metallic has been AMAZING. I can't say enough things good about them.
Our backs are failing every day since early April.
The density of the solution is amazing, we have almost 1 PB in 6 RU, storage and compute. It scales very easily and management of the platform is just as easy as legacy media agents.
It works, but is expensive and difficult to manage.
Andrew: My name is Andrew. I'm a pastor. I give Backblaze five out of five. And for more reviews like this, click below. Before I started using Backblaze, I was using CrashPlan, which was okay, but eventually transitioned to doing commercial backups only and didn't really fit the needs of just me and my household. I chose Backblaze mostly because Wirecutter of the New York Times told me to, and they were absolutely right. Backblaze is fairly inexpensive for the kinds of backup services it provides. It's intuitive. It does things quickly. And I've never had a problem with it. Getting started with Backblaze was really easy. The hardest part was just having to wait to get everything uploaded. And after that, it's been a piece of cake. If you were considering getting Backblaze, I'd highly recommend getting enough licenses for all the devices in your house. I think it's an affordable thing to do that makes sure all of your data's protected. Another thing to take a look at is whether you need the advanced version control. Someone like me, who does not have lots of kind of data that relies on that precise level of backup, doesn't make sense for me. But if you are one of those people, Backblaze has competitive prices on that kind of granular backup.
