Braze is aimed at companies of various sizes who wish to optimize their customer relationships and strengthen customer loyalty with the help of the platform and its cross-channel campaigns.
Marigold Engage works with B2C relationship marketers in nearly every industry, but with strong representation in Retail, Entertainment, Travel & Hospitality, Publishing & Finance.
The ability to create segments and target specific users is super useful. Tricking the results of campaigns is also straight forward and pretty advanced.
Additionally there are some functionality missing from the creation tools (drag & drop editor), which also does not enable the full potential of the channels that you are working with.
Great landing page and nice templates provided y the product and content creation options are impressive and the dashboard looks amazing.
Limited reporting and analyses built in the platform.
Great robust platform, easy to use, allows to scale, needs some more features to be perfect.
I also don't like very much the reporting on canvas.
Our overall experience with the product is good, was also nice seeing that they are continuously developing the solution. Of course, it can also be better.
I haven't had any issues with Braze so far. The minor problems and bugs were either quickly addressed by Braze team or resolved on our side.
We're quite happy with our Account/partner management they are really up to speed, are very responsive and committed to their clients success.
Crashes suddenly when there is no internet connection. Screen fitting on small resokution displays is terrible.
Salesforce is the major benefit over other marketing automation platforms. Engage is a great feature and the engagement studio is useful to visualize campaigns.
Reporting could be more user-friendly. For a new user, reporting is difficult to navigate.
I like the token syntax and ability for dynamic content and personalization. Reusable templates are easy to create.
Some functionality limitations in the drag and drop features, however these can usually be remedied with SQL coding.
What I like most about the platform is the ability to set up Life Cycle Marketing programs with as much personalization as my data model can support.
Under the weight of our daily work and large file size, the user interface and some processes are prone to occasional lag.
Lucien H.: Hi, my name is Lucien. My role is the VP of Go-to-Market. The company I work at is Liven. We have over 200 employees globally. And I would rate Braze a five out of five. Prior to Braze, we actually used a tool called Leanplum. We used Leanplum for approximately a year. And we were attracted to the platform initially because of the breadth of features that Leanplum provided. But after using it for some time, we realized that they were brilliant at offering a very wide range of features, but not necessarily providing the depth. That's why we moved to Braze because their mobile marketing communication and canvassing is far superior. We switched over to Braze as soon as we saw the power of the canvassing. So with the canvassing, the really important piece for us was the power of lifecycle. Because we have a consumer app in our business and that requires us to design very complex communications through the life cycle with varying different life cycles. And Braze had a fantastic canvassing capability. Their campaign management was also really good, so it enabled us to easily search for numerous different life cycles and also their reporting and analytics was and is fantastic. Integrating Braze into the company was pretty straightforward. And the reason I would say that is the help documentation and Braze Academy is excellent. They've obviously spent a lot of time focusing on creating resources that will empower employees across the company to upskill quickly and understand how to use the tool. So we have a wide range of employees across our business that use Braze for different use cases. If you are looking into Braze, I would highly recommend looking specifically into the communication capability that they have. They are 100% best in class. You need to ask yourself whether you are looking for a vertically integrated product or a product like Braze, that it's going to do one or two things really well. So depending on whether you're looking for vertical integration or a standalone solution, if the answer is the latter, standalone solution, then Braze is definitely best in class.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
