Everfit combines simplicity with a good selection of features like some very interesting automation possibilities and habit tracking. The pricing tiers are also very good.
The single use of american metrics, sometimes with clients logging weights its confusing to see how much they are lifting at times.
The founders of Everfit have been so open and responsive to my feedback and have gone to great lengths to build a high quality product.
The only think missing, is an option to set a written Check In with the Tasks.
Everfit is great and i love the support on hand when there are technicals things i need help with. Its integrates nicely with myfitnesspal.
Not very much that I don’t like. I can only say is rhat it doesn’t show averages for bodyweight...yet.
Easy programming, looks great, customizable, and contains all the features you need to run a successful health & fitness business. I'm yet to use auto flow but it looks awesome.
I sometimes forget to include all of the alternate exercises I might use during the session or I want to add some extra exercises on the fly because we finish the first one early.
Ve had a very pleasant experience with true coach and have recommended it to many coaches. Many have also started using it because of this.
It can be hard if the payment is missed and the client is effected in the process.
I was very impressed by the awesome customer service and the speed on which they answered all of my questions.
I don't like that there is no progression feature and that you need to type in text for sets and steps. It leads to too many user errors.
True Coach is easy to use for both coach and client, with a very user friendly set up and a great visual for the coach to be able to see what their clients are doing and what they need going forward.
Desktop site is “clunky”, just a lot of scrolling and clicking and jumping after long wait times upon saving. No copying of partial days or drag and drop of single exercises between days.
TC has been a great tool AND group to work with - the team is incredibly responsive and the periodic updates to the software have been welcome (payments has been a huge plus).
Some of the programming features are missing, that would make it even more streamline.
Rick N.: I'm Rick. I am the founder and owner of Strong Fit Fast. It is a company of one with online coaching. And I would rate Everfit five stars. Prior to using Everfit, I was on another app called TrueCoach, a similar kind of platform that allows you to do remote coaching. I moved away from it because it wasn't really what I was looking for in terms of features and, especially, advancing features over the years of using the app. I felt like the interface never really caught up to the price point. Pretty impressive. When I first started with them, I loved that they included things like task tracking, like food journaling, a lot of extra features that made it very easy for me to work with my clients from not just a training perspective but also their lifestyle. And since joining them, the number of features they've added that have been just incredibly useful has just kept coming month after month after month. Basically, every time I think this would be a cool new feature, it appears. The transition to Everfit was actually quite smooth. Their user interface, both from a client perspective and from a coach perspective, are very good. They have individual apps for both, as well as PC software options, so I was able to just move my clients straight over. I created a few quick demo videos, and they took to it very easily. And then in terms of getting set up, it was very quick to build some programs, create some of the Autoflow onboarding materials. It was really just set up to make my life easy in terms of moving from one software into this one. I would recommend to everyone to make the move as soon as possible. There's a few coaches that I collaborate with that I work with, and I am slowly bullying them all into moving on to Everfit because I know from experience of nearly a decade working in the fitness industry that this is the best software going at the moment. I've tried a lot of different ones. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Everfit is the most full, well-rounded package I've come across in terms of workouts, in terms of lifestyle habits, in terms of payment packages, in terms of user interface, pretty much everything. If you are struggling with any facet of your current software, Everfit is probably going to take care of that in a very easy-to-use fashion.
Lee-Ann: My name is Lee-Ann, I'm a personal trainer, and I give TrueCoach a five out of five rating. Before using TrueCoach, I did all of my client programming and tracking manually in a spreadsheet that I did on my laptop. And after a couple of years of managing everything and inputting all the data entry required manually, I just got burnt out and my client caseload started to increase and I just didn't have time. So when I was in search of an easier platform, I thought of first Trainerize, another product, and what made me decide to go with TrueCoach was because pretty much they offer two weeks free. And after the two weeks of using TrueCoach, I was sold. What made me decide to go with TrueCoach is because of the many options that I was able to do on the platform, on the software for my clients. For instance, I could upload all of my own personal video demos that I'd made for each individual client. I could also upload personal client greetings, video introductions that I kind of have for each client. I also liked the ability to chat with each of my clients while we're using TrueCoach software, so my clients have instant access to me whenever they're doing their workout, or if they have questions, concerns, we use the instant chat feature a lot. I also really enjoyed the fact that I could load my own metrics for my clients, because everybody is so different that for each client in TrueCoach, I'm able to have a set of variables or metrics that's unique to that client. For instance, could be the common weight measurements like hips, waist, arm, thigh, et cetera. But I also have athletic-based performance clients whose metrics are completely different. We're talking about one rep max, we're talking about how much weight they're pushing in the gym each week, and that was very helpful. Getting started with TrueCoach and bringing TrueCoach into my existing personal training business was easy. The first concern I had was, would it be an easy transition for my particular clients to get on board? And that was the game changer because it was super easy. A few of my clients are sometimes afraid of technology or afraid of doing anything online, especially my older clientele. And I was able to get them on board because it was as easy as just getting a link from each individual client, then logging in and getting started right away. If you are considering using TrueCoach, from my own personal experience, I wish I had started using TrueCoach years and years ago because I have realized and found out all of the time that I've saved by using TrueCoach versus doing my own stuff manually has just made my business efficient and freed up a lot of my time so that I could do other things while I work on my business. Also, the fact that with technology, sometimes you have ups and downs and every time I've reached out to TrueCoach customer service, they have an instant chat option for help. Or if you have questions or something funky has happened, I've always had immediate response. We've always come up with an immediate solution. So customer service was key because the folks at TrueCoach always reached out to me within a reasonable amount of time and were always able to help me through any kind of issues or questions that I had with using the software.
