Wooclap is perfect for teachers and professional trainers who want to captivate their audience, improve their learning experience, and measure their level of comprehension.
From the other hand, students can relax a minute during the lesson while answering the question with this lovely and funny interface.
The error clues are sometimes diffucult to undercover and find out what you are doing wrong, specially when you are starting to program.
Kahoot is a very unique software that can turn ordinary things such as exam review sessions or trivia into a fun competition style experience, very helpful in making meetings more fun and engaging.
But when I have, I found errors / such as wrong answers. So if you are going to use them, double check them before you launch it in front of your audience.
It keeps students interested in learning and also allows for the teachers to be able to create reviews in an easy and effective way. Kahoot is easy to use and definitely a great value for the money.
I haven't found anything that could make me hate or dislike this app. Although, they could implement some other features to make it easier to use.
Even if you lose in a game where the main goal is to win, you enjoy the process. Even if the player loses, they have a good experience thanks to the community they interact with.
For example, if students press a wrong answer by mistake while playing the game, they are not able to go back and change it before the time is up.
I like that there is instant feedback for students which can be displayed on screen or sent individually to students. I like that I can create the assessments and it is digitally saved to use again.
Too bad we can't keep the animations of a powerpoint support once the file is loaded on wooclap.
It’s reliable and efficient I love the ease of use and the quality is amazing.
More ways to collect data and features to manipulate and use the data More questionsBetter slide integration. It's the worst ppt integration I have ever used.
Good, have been using it for a year now it really helps regarding interactivity in the classrooms of big auditoriums and small classes.
SENSITIVE CONTENT] had bad attitude towards users.
If you are looking to spice up some in-class or virtual training Wooclap is a fantastic way to make this happen. I quite like the Brainstorming function.
Sometimes it is difficult to get a troubleshooting question responded to in a timely way. I've had to wait 1-2 days for a response.
Amanda: Hi, my name's Amanda. I'm a coding coach and I give Kahoot! five out of five stars. We use Kahoot! in our classrooms and our at home learning modules to ensure that students have access to all the information that they need, as well as engaging interactive study review sessions that they can do at home or in class. I love Kahoot! because not only is it easy to use from the teacher side, but it's easy to use from the student side. Students can use it on their phones, on their computer. I can display it on our smart boards or our projectors. It's very versatile and we can use it to do a lot of things educationally. I wish Kahoot! had a little bit more options for student engagement, such as freeze times or like a little game that they could be playing during the Kahoot! I know a couple of competitors have similar things like that, and my students really enjoy that engaging aspect.
Glinis: Hi, my name is Glinis. I am the president and founder of my company, and my size is myself, and I have one contractor. And for Wooclap, I give it five stars. One of the products that I was using, it needed to use the phone numbers online to make sure it was in Canada. So when you had to go to settings, it had to be in Canada for obvious reasons, I'm in Canada. However, though, it would just kind of default back to U.S. So when I would log in, it would default and I'd have to troubleshoot on my own. And I just basically figured out what was going on, so I had to keep resetting it back to a Canada number. So that was a major issue for me with it. And then the other one was, I guess at the time, when I was not on my own, it was just the expense of it. It was not as valued with within where I was working previously, so that was a reason I was using the free version and just didn't give me what I needed from what I knew what a paid version would get, so that was also a reason. It was just the cost of it. With Wooclap, what I really enjoy is that it's really easy to use. It's with the phone. I just found it a lot easier than past ones to put in people's information. I like the QR code where you can just easily print it, attach it to posters. Sometimes I'll just snapshot the QR code and inserted that. So that's why I really like Wooclap. It's anonymous. So anytime I've used it with any of my clients, I've said, "This is anonymous." I said, "There's a setting that even I can't tell who's been responding." So I just leave it all anonymous, and people really appreciate that. I think it's made our client meetings more productive because we've gotten discussions where, because the answer was anonymous, they were able to share more. And I've had past people I've worked with and clients come up and tell me what they appreciated is that they're not as comfortable to speak in the group, so they said that they really appreciated being able to engage fully with their opinion, and they appreciated the fact that it was still anonymous, so they can give their opinion with executive leaderships in the room and that was really helpful. Really easy. Wooclap is really, I'll just look up sometimes the help or I'll just figure out. I like how Wooclap sends out, you know when you guys add new features to your Wooclap, so I actually always check them out. I see what new things I can try. Using Wooclap embedded in PowerPoint has been really useful. And I like it too when you're going to meetings where they've never actually used their cell phone for meetings, they're really like, aha, oh, I love this. This is great. So I actually get really good feedback from it, because it's so easy to use on their end as well. I just give some quick instructions, because I've gotten familiar, even versus iPhone versus Androids, of how to log in. For instance, the Android phones, some of them default that there's a setting that they're not able just to automatically connect to Wooclap, so we have to go into their phone, change it back. And even with iPhone, sometimes they'll have it turned off, so it's just been really easy to connect. So I appreciate the large number of people, so if you're doing engagements, what a hundred, few hundred people, you can get so much content, whatever time you're getting answering in the questions, two minutes, five, ten minutes, whatever you give out. So that's really great. It collects content super quick, puts it into the report, the PDF or the Excel, but that's recommendation. And then aside from that, the other thing I would recommend is using it to do your registration. I've used it in my projects, instead of using the alternatives such as Google to make a sheet where people put in their name, address, questions like that, I've used Wooclap for that purpose as well, and because of the QR code, and it's just been really useful that way. So that's what I would recommend to do that for engagement and registration form.
