Extremely pleased and surprised that this a open-source software. The features provided out of the box is extremely robust and reliable.
Since the project is Open-Source and community-driven, it's a bit hard to get support for very specific problems. Sometimes nobody responded to my questions on the official Slack channel.
I love that it is open source and the new version 9 is rewritten in JavaScript instead of PHP, so it is super fast and has modern features, like a GraphQL API.
The main problem are sql queries, there was a lot of bugs when tried to create/update data or fields. If you enable cache (via redis for example) login is broken.
The GraphQL has been a great addition to the latest technology, and additionally, the community support is one the best I have had experienced. As I said, you will love it.
Directus lack of some auto installation such as auto add Systemd and Nginx or Caddy. You must setup them separately.
The beautiful design, the excellent community support, ease of deployment. In short, what's not to like.
No option for push pull control of database for offline usage.
I recommend it because it has systems that can be managed without problkema by marketing or fiction professionals responsible for business sales and content.
I'm not going to say that Storyblok is a horrible product because it's not. It has value, and it has a market.
Storybook can be a great option for creating and producing content for developing companies and startups. Because it has a lot of flexibility for both developers and users.
Clicking on an element on the page opens up the parent block rather than the child block that was being clicked.
Quite manageable and keep coming with novel features. High reliability on editing and formatting services of content.
This is inconveniencing. I often find myself feeling disappointed with the features on content delivery APIs (REST & GraphQL).
My Overall experience is very good with Storyblok.
When developers are over-resourced, there's no one available to make those changes since content side won't get access to the code. The structure to setup the webpages are sometimes backwards.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
