The issue that bothered me the most is its mandatory bidding features. We have no need for them.

Lack of features for more complicated drawings.
It's a good product, very simple for take measures on worksite, perfect for begin layout... or transfer to Cad application... there is a lot advantage directly inside it.
No desktop version, limited export options, inconsistent and limited dimensioning, and not easy to get area measurements. Higher levels are a bit expensive.
ArcSite has given us the ability to create beautiful, quality, custom bids for the work we do on our customers home that is unparalleled.
There are times when very detailed drawings can be a pain. Sometimes it is difficult to draw or drag and place lines that are close together.
Not only did Esticom offer that, but I think it did meet our needs, and at this point in time, I am not interested in looking at any other products. I am very happy with Esticom.
It makes it more confusing and increases the probability of making a mistake.
This has saved me lots of time count data drops on plans. Best of all, customer like seeing what they are being quoted.
The database for devices in the design function is limited. Limited database for parts that have been pre-entered.
Additionally, Esticom's team is fantastic about working directly with you to make the software suitable for your project type.
Electrical components prices are off making it difficult to in smaller projects.
Personal - Customer support staff have field experience as well as excellent product knowledge which translates to excellent on-boarding sessions and quick answers to questions.
Not being able to switch between takeoff modes without deleting the entire item. Ie switching between linear and linear avg with drop).
