Adoba Y
Product
4.0

Adoba: Hi everyone, my name is Adoba. I lead technical and product at Alphora, a team of roughly seven to nine. I rate Dynamics at a four out of five. So we use Dynamics most for sales and our marketing. The sales Microsoft relationship, sales is a big part of what we do. We also use the service part, which is the customer service. The marketing part of Microsoft Dynamics help us keep in touch with our customers and our sales reps with the product. So being in the Microsoft ecosystem is one of the best things with Dynamics. You have access to the entire product line that just works seamlessly together. Like I said, we do sales, CRM, marketing. All of those things are the individual products that we considered, but Microsoft was able to bring them together. The product for our sales, which we use the most, has really grown. The features that they've added has just been tremendous, and that's the best part about Microsoft Dynamics for us. I think there's always an issue with seat based billing, which is what we have with Dynamics today. I think that's just the biggest issue, and sometimes I think being part of the ecosystem of having access to Microsoft Dynamics to their products is an advantage but sometimes it can also be a disadvantage because, for us, we had everything siloed before in different other products but when we decided to use Dynamics we had to bring sales together into one product, bring marketing together into one product, bring our [inaudible 00:01:22] together into one product. That's sort of a disadvantage. I'm not sure how well these three things are able to work outside of each other if they're not connected under the same system so it was a huge consideration for us and I think for anyone who is wanting to use Dynamics.

Desiree B
Research Associate
5.0

Desiree: Hi. My name is Desiree and I'm a research associate and I give Quartzy five out of five stars. If you'd like more reviews like this one, click below. When we started with Quartzy back in 2016 at this point, there weren't many options for lab management platforms. And so at the time, the only other one that we really looked at was Labguru. And I have to say that with choosing Quartzy, we were very pleased with our choice. So I'd have to say for reasons why we chose Quartzy, there were four primary reasons. The first of which is they had the platform that we wanted to be able to put our laboratory inventory online. They had already developed forms for widely used laboratory categories and they allowed bulk upload of the information that we had around the lab in Excel spreadsheets or other forms, not to mention the fact that they had developed a reagent request process. And this was instrumental for us in terms of how we did the ordering in the lab. No more were we writing things up on sheets that were stuck to lab or stuck to the wall that could disappear, but rather, we were inputting things online that people could see. So it cut down on the duplicates and it allowed us to track our orders from the request point all the way to the point of delivery. And because everybody could interact with Quartzy, we could see who handled our shipments at what stage. And so if we had any questions, we could go directly to them. Additionally, Quartzy was dedicated to getting us up and going. So customer service was a big reason why we chose them. They provided us with an onsite demo when we showed interest in their software. They were extremely responsive to our questions and how we could fit our lab needs into their software. And we were actually able to send them our inventory initially and had them do the bulk upload. So it was delivered back to us ready to go. And finally, I'd say the last reason why Quartzy was a good choice for us was the price. It was very cost effective. Like I said, we've been with Quartzy since 2016 and we haven't looked back since. It was so easy to get online with Quartzy. I mean I have lab people come in that are short-term, they're summer students and maybe they stay and they're there for a year, all different lengths of time. And honestly, within 20 minutes, they know everything that they need to know about Quartzy to deal with the day to day interactions that they have with that software. A lot of it is so intuitive that there's very little teaching that has to go on. Once they're logged in and they can see the interface, it's very clear what they need to do to be able to order reagents, or look up inventory items, or even have items delivered to the lab. It's extremely easy. I'd say if anyone's considering Quartzy, I would have them hop online to their website. You can request an onsite demo, which is what we did. And in addition to that, they have a ton of different tutorials webinars. They host speaking series about different functions that Quartzy has. Looking through. Any of that online in addition to speaking with their customer service team is an excellent way to figure out how Quartzy can meet the needs of your lab.
