Overall this is a great product and I have no plans of changing it anytime soon. I can do all my administrative task

Pros

Personio is great value for money and the customer support is fantastic. I can manage payroll and employee management, and the learning curve is very quick

Cons

I did not have any problems, that I can identify. And to be fair I had a bit of issues understanding the process automation, but I understood it quickly

Overall, I’m very satisfied with Personio. It really makes HR processes smoother and saves a lot of time, both for me as an employee and for the company as a whole. Even though there are small areas for improvement, the positives clearly outweigh the negatives. I can definitely recommend Personio to any growing company that wants an efficient and transparent HR solution.

Pros

What I really like about Personio is how it brings so many HR processes together in one place. Things like vacation requests, time tracking, and payroll are all much easier to handle, both for employees and for HR itself. The interface is clean and intuitive, so you don’t need a long learning curve to get started. I also appreciate the transparency it creates — I can see my vacation days, documents, and payslips anytime without having to ask HR.

Cons

On the downside, some features can feel a bit slow or clunky, especially when it comes to loading times or switching between sections. Also, the reporting functions could be more flexible — sometimes you wish you had a bit more customization. And while the software covers most core processes, a few smaller workflows still have to be done manually.

Overall, we're happy, but we use other additional tools for HR processes like onboarding, offboarding, hiring.

Pros

\- Payroll is easy to set up and runs smoothly with minimal effort - Simple connection with our tax advisor and straightforward document sharing with the team - Time off, absence, and sick leave management works very well

Cons

\- Other features are difficult to use and not very flexible - Onboarding and offboarding are heavy processes with limited customization. e.g. once an item is checked, it cannot be unchecked. Only templates are available, so every new employee requires a new template (no way to add additional tasks) - Navigation is tricky and often unintuitive - Support is complicated, only the owner can contact them, not even an admin

Ich komme mit Personio gut zurecht. Es ist ein hilfreiches Tool für alles rund um HR. Ich habe einen guten Überblick und muss nicht jedes Mal bei HR nachfragen – das spart Zeit und macht vieles einfacher.

Pros

Ich finde die Seite sehr übersichtlich. Ich sehe direkt meine Abwesenheiten, Lohnabrechnungen und wichtige Dokumente. Auch Urlaubsanträge kann ich ganz einfach stellen. Alles ist leicht zu finden und selbsterklärend.

Cons

Manchmal lädt die Seite etwas langsam. Es wäre auch schön, wenn man zum Beispiel Urlaub und Krankheit besser farblich unterscheiden könnte.

We’ve been using Personio for over two years and it’s been a great improvement. Before, we relied on multiple tools to cover what Personio now offers in one place. Having everything consolidated — from employee records to time off management — makes our processes much more efficient. We also appreciate how easily it integrates with other tools like our expense management software.

Pros

The platform is easy to navigate with a great user experience. We love how it gives a clear overview of all colleagues across the company — it really helps us stay connected and organized.

Cons

Nothing major, the newest updates in the design look good but I need to learn how to walk through it. Overall, Personio works very well for our needs.

Personio is the main tool we use in the team, we request time of, track our attendance there, we can super easily access our paycheck and control all contract related informations

Pros

I love the time calendar the most, it's really easy to keep track of the attendance amongst one's team. The time of requesting is also very practical.

Cons

The time tracking system. It's not very self explanatory, and the interface keeps on changing. Too many updates there unfortunately.

Bei der täglichen Anwendung ist es ein gutes Tool, es ist einfach zu bedienen und deckt alle Bereiche für das Personalwesen ab. Leider hatten wir in den letzten Monate häufiger technische Probleme. Glücklicherweise konnten wir viele Themen nach längerem Hin und Her gemeinsam mit dem CRM Team bearbeiten, sodass wir nun guter Dinge sind, frühere Einstellungen und technische Unwissenheit zu beheben.

Pros

Übersichtlichkeit, intuitives Bedienen, all-in-one HR-Software.

Cons

Der Kundensupport ist sehr schlecht. Zum einen langsam und zum anderen sind die Antworten inhaltlich häufig extrem lang und helfen nicht.

Nach einigen Stör-Gefühlen und Problemen haben wir irgendwann die Unterstützung bekommen, die wir auch benötigt haben. Grundsätzlich ein gutes, vielseitiges aber auch komplexes Tool.

Pros

Die vielfältige Möglichkeit von Zeiterfassung, Lohnbuchhaltung, Personalmanagement und Reporting.

Cons

Der Support lässt leider zu wünschen übrig, die Wartezeit auf eine Rückmeldung dauert teilweise sehr lange.
