The other products we looked at before using the Social Animal was Ninja Outreach, but we found that it was a bit too expensive and too many features for what we needed it for, really. The reason we chose Social Animal, in the end, was that for the value for money, it was just a bit of a no-brainer. They had some incredible features, it did everything we needed it to do in terms of the content marketing research. It's also got some great features on there for influencer outreach as well. It just ticked all the boxes for us. The onboarding and integration process for Social Animal was pretty much flawless, really. They had a bunch of tutorials and on-screen walkthroughs to get the app up and running when you first sign into the account, and from there, it was smooth sailing. Everything's relatively where you'd expect it to be. It's very, very self-explanatory and easy to get started with. The main recommendation I'd give to anyone who is considering using Social Animal is just to really think about what you need the tool for first, because some of the other competitors in the space, like Ninja Outreach, do give you more flexibility and features in terms of being able to do outreach to influencers. If you are, for example, working in the influencer marketing space, Social Animal might not give you everything you need. However, if you're using it for content marketing research purposes, Social Animal is a great tool.
