Power BI is used by developers, analysts, IT, and other businesses to visualize and analyze data on a unified interface.
Really pleased so far with the platform and learning more each day about how to better use it and make it even more powerful.
It can be costly if you have multiple clients with multiple integrations.
We love that it is in-depth and allows you to add images, links and your own text. Awesome product at an affordable price point.
They don't have all the metrics from Advertising platforms, which can be frustrating and sometimes I find the metric pulls completely differently than whats in Google.
We've been using Swydo for a few years now, very happy with the software, the speed, ease of use and how reliable it is.
Sometimes I miss explanations for some metrics used. For example, I couldn't find anywhere what is storytellers metric in Facebook.
The best part about Swydo is the customization it offers. The ability to create templates but then also unlink reports from templates to customize them is great for meeting client needs.
Limited in application compared to some other tools out there.
The Desktop Version is awesome, provides multiple connectors to different data sources and powerful modelling capabilities so that I format my data exactly how I want it.
I dislike the fact that so far we can't use multiple datasets as sources. Also if you are not familiar with DAX you have limited possibilities to run measures.
Its main advantage is the price, it is accessible for small companies and others. It also has a simple interface that allows users of other Office products a greater ease of use.
Comparing with other competitor products, its lack of features.
Ease to creating visualizations; excellent integration with other Microsoft applications and Google sheets. Support document is effective and easy to get.
It also bothers me a bit how slow it is to load specifically the desktop version, but this I can understand because I suppose it depends on the amount of data connected.
Overall my experience has been good with Power BI for my personal data analysis and visualization. I use it for analyzing finance and expenditures and it does a pretty good job at it.
The UI is clunky, the data model is not very intuitive to set up, performance is slow, especially compared to other tools. No build in box and whisker plots was a huge downside too.
Dima K.: My name's Dima. I'm a director in the marketing industry and I give Swydo a four out of five. For more reviews like this, click below. Prior to using Swydo I wasn't actually doing reports, at least not fancy ones. For clients was just basically doing... Just letting them know over the phone how everything's going. A lot of my clients were checking in on their actual ad accounts or just getting an update from me or just seeing the leads in sales come in, in Shopify, or in their inbox. When I was looking for the right software to use, I tried a few others. I can't really remember the names of all of them, but Swydo was the one that I ended up picking. And yeah, it was a great software, but I've actually moved on now to a different software called AgencyAnalytics, which I like even more. The reason I originally chose Swydo was because it was really easy to use, and configure, and the reports that it generated looked great. It was really easy to add my agency's branding and... Yeah, I just really appreciated the ease of use and also the pricing was very affordable, compared to a bunch of its competitors that I'd looked into. I found it very intuitive and straightforward to onboard with Swydo and it probably took about 15, 20 minutes to get the first client fully set up in it. And from there it only got faster. One thing that's really important with all of these reporting softwares for agencies is to find... Basically to be able to configure the report, to give the data that you wanted to give, and to look the way you wanted to look, and with a lot of the other softwares that I looked into, it was either too advanced and too complicated, like Google Data Studio, for example, where I felt like I needed a PhD to operate it. It could clearly do almost anything that I could imagine, but it was just incredibly difficult to use, whereas others had very limited functionality. Swydo kind of hit a sweet spot where it was very easy to use and it had enough functionality for my needs to make some really, really great dashboards and reports that worked for me. If you run a marketing agency that has a lot of AdWords clients, Facebook Ads clients, just basically paid traffic clients, then Swydo is fantastic, and I'd highly recommend it. I guess my only critique of it is its integrations for showing SEO results were a bit lacking. And that's why I ultimately moved to a software that allowed me to present great SEO reports as well, and that's AgencyAnalytics. But yeah, Swydo for PPC is awesome and I'd highly recommend it for that purpose.
Eric H.: Hi, my name is Eric. I'm a CFO, I give Power BI four stars. And for more reviews like this, please click below. Before Power BI, we used Tableau. We used it on a trial basis, and while it was all right, an early leader in this space, it just didn't integrate as well as Microsoft Power BI with the whole suite of products that we use as a company. We chose Power BI because it is easy to integrate with the rest of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. It has powerful analytics tools and it allows for some pretty cool graphics and dashboarding as part of that data visualization suite. It was relatively easy to get started with Microsoft Power BI. The integration with the rest of the Microsoft Office Suite really helps. There is some challenges though with data integration, making sure that the data is in the right format to be loaded into Power BI, but once you go from there, it's pretty easy and feels very intuitive if you're used to the rest of the Microsoft Office Suite. My advice for anyone looking to implement Microsoft Power BI would be to first watch some YouTube videos or take a tutorial or maybe even a class. Getting the data validation, data integration piece is really key to the functionality of the system. It can pull in some awesome graphics, some really good dashboards and analytics, but if you don't set up the data right, you'll never get it to work properly.
