Businesses needing reliable, trackable email delivery for their transactional and marketing needs use SMTP2GO. You can also benefit from our expertise - a relay service with heart!
Our product is built for developers that need a simple email API integration to send, receive & track email in their app whether using Python, Ruby, PHP, C#, Node.js or Java across multiple industries
I had very pleasant experience working with SMTP2Go, it saved lot of manual efforts and improved the productivity. Its dashboard made sure that the notifications reached customers on time.
Downside is the lack of automated options for fails. SPAM, soft or hard bounces have to all be manually created.
Simplicity and they do not charge me for each smtp user is a huge plus. I love how they recently made it easy to manage my approved sending domains and testing the configuration within their panel.
Due to the bad reputation of our public IP addresses at our ISP, there were times where we couldn't send 20 emails per day as our IPs were blacklisted by all known antispam providers.
Rick - our usual support person has done a really wonderful job of getting us through a few roadblocks. Hope the team feels our appreciation.
For the past several weeks the problem has once again become acute. SMTP2GO is no longer effective.
Emails are delivered reliably and with ease, and the comprehensive reporting allows me to troubleshoot in the event that email isn't delivered for some reason.
Argh, why did the printer stop sending scan to email.
We use Mailgun to send to large email marketing lists because it's more affordable than many alternatives. The UX is pretty solid and the reporting tools are nice.
Unlike MailChimp, there is also not the easy interface to customize messages. We have a number of issues with the emails from Mailchimp going to spam and users struggling to find them.
Mailgun is the perfect way for small startups to get their email solution up and running. It's developer friendly, customisable, and initially free; all in a clean UI.
Absolutely WORST product ever used and support team faced, it's absolutely garbage.
Easy to setup, great docs, amazing cost and ease of implementation. The free 10,000 first email option is excellent and very competitive against other companies such as SendGrid.
Most of my gripes are simply due to lack of understanding - a lot of the software was quite technical in nature and over my head.
Mailgun has a great API and ability to configure just about anything you need when it comes to sending email. Their UI is very clean and it isn't super cluttered with things you don't need.
Downtime of the systems servers can be a bit frustrating at times.
Albert: Hi, I'm Albert. I'm a web developer at a nonprofit organization in Nova Scotia, and my company has 25 to 30 staff in total, and I give Mailgun five out of five. Prior to Mailgun, I was using the default SMTP mail server inside LearnWorlds, and the problem was it just kept going to spam. Customers didn't receive the emails, and we couldn't track whether they got it or not. So we looked at several mail platforms, and based on the YouTube channel, knowledge base and developer resources, we found that Mailgun was the best choice for our particular instance of our learning management system and our website and batching platform. It was very easy to get started. Their YouTube channel covered everything, and whenever I encountered a problem that wasn't covered by YouTube channel, I reached out to their staff and they were very prompt to help me and assist me every step of the way. So before choosing this platform, I recommend watching the YouTube channel to make sure it fits your specific use case. And also, don't buy it right away, use their free trial. Every pricing plan on their platform has a free trial, so use that for 30 days to make sure it fits your business case. And then if that works, then I recommend going forward because it makes email delivery and email tracking a lot better.
