Our product is built for developers that need a simple email API integration to send, receive & track email in their app whether using Python, Ruby, PHP, C#, Node.js or Java across multiple industries
Email and SMS marketing software that is ideal for small, medium, and large business platforms across the world. Manage your leads and contacts with this software to drive sales.
Mailgun has a great API and ability to configure just about anything you need when it comes to sending email. Their UI is very clean and it isn't super cluttered with things you don't need.
Unlike MailChimp, there is also not the easy interface to customize messages. We have a number of issues with the emails from Mailchimp going to spam and users struggling to find them.
We use Mailgun to send to large email marketing lists because it's more affordable than many alternatives. The UX is pretty solid and the reporting tools are nice.
Absolutely WORST product ever used and support team faced, it's absolutely garbage.
Easy to setup, great docs, amazing cost and ease of implementation. The free 10,000 first email option is excellent and very competitive against other companies such as SendGrid.
Most of my gripes are simply due to lack of understanding - a lot of the software was quite technical in nature and over my head.
Mailgun is the perfect way for small startups to get their email solution up and running. It's developer friendly, customisable, and initially free; all in a clean UI.
Downtime of the systems servers can be a bit frustrating at times.
But where this app really stood out for me was their support team. Wow, I impressed by how much hand-holding their technician did for me to get my first campaign email out.
The interface is difficult to understand and they have a ridiculous and ignorant censorship policy that want to be the moral guardian of what you and your recipients read and see.
The templates are amazing and the ability to easily customize our campaigns is incredible. There's so much you can do with them.
My role isn't creating the campaigns but I know sometimes there are errors that wrong emails get sent out. May be user error on our admin.
I am very happy and satisfied since our use case of marketing automation is being perfectly met.
Their simple condition filter in their workflow component didn't work originally. I had to speak to their engineering team twice to show them the problem, and then they fixed it 5 days later.
Very useful interface , easy to navigate and good interface which helps to understand better. Help and tutorials are good.
You'll see the updated font color in the HTML code, and in the email preview you will see the font color you want. But when you send the email, the font color is almost always wrong.
Albert: Hi, I'm Albert. I'm a web developer at a nonprofit organization in Nova Scotia, and my company has 25 to 30 staff in total, and I give Mailgun five out of five. Prior to Mailgun, I was using the default SMTP mail server inside LearnWorlds, and the problem was it just kept going to spam. Customers didn't receive the emails, and we couldn't track whether they got it or not. So we looked at several mail platforms, and based on the YouTube channel, knowledge base and developer resources, we found that Mailgun was the best choice for our particular instance of our learning management system and our website and batching platform. It was very easy to get started. Their YouTube channel covered everything, and whenever I encountered a problem that wasn't covered by YouTube channel, I reached out to their staff and they were very prompt to help me and assist me every step of the way. So before choosing this platform, I recommend watching the YouTube channel to make sure it fits your specific use case. And also, don't buy it right away, use their free trial. Every pricing plan on their platform has a free trial, so use that for 30 days to make sure it fits your business case. And then if that works, then I recommend going forward because it makes email delivery and email tracking a lot better.
Art: Hi, my name's Art. I'm COO of a small marketing company in Maryland, working with not-for-profit organizations since 1997. This is a review of Zoho Campaigns, which we're using for a email marketing campaign, and we give it a five star rating. We've been using a variety of tools over the years. We have some homegrown email marketing tools. We've also used Constant Contact, MailChimp, a few of the other big name delivery systems, but we were looking for something a little more cost effective for the client that we're currently working with. We chose Zoho because of its price and the features available for the price. The campaign reach in this case was about 5,000 out of a 65,000 member organization, and it was the sweet spot in the cost per month and cost per contact that we could use. Onboarding and integrating was a pretty smooth process. The documentation is outstanding. The ability to get online help while we were setting up and answer some questions, because every email provider has a little different flavor of how they do their development. It was just a really simple process and they were very helpful in doing so. Don't let the fact that Zoho is a relatively new player in the email and SMS marketing scare you. They are an excellent tool. They have a full suite of products, help desk and other things that are not really necessary for our current client, but we are exploring for future use. They are very friendly, they're quick to respond to questions and offer some really great advice.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
