Automotive, health and wellness, home services, and retail industries.
Our overall experience with TargetBay has been fantastic. They are highly responsive, thorough, and they care about our success.
There are slight errors and glitches due to it being new.
The ease of use for getting reviews and ratings is awesome. Super user friendly and up to the date stats on sales and campaigns.
Some of the Javascript (calls) on the widgets are slow and cause some page delay.
It should be said that Targetbay/Innoppl has outstanding support response time. All in all, the software works as advertised and it has worked pretty reliably for us.
A few smaller nit picky things but nothing that made me dislike using the product.
Love the analytics that show the results of any campaign we do. They also have great customer service if I ever need help.
Setup took quite awhile. There were some technical difficulties and setup took a bit longer than expected.
Loved their software and initially their support was amazing, we saw this as worthy of the price tag.
They will ignore you, say they've cancelled services with the same template email over and over again, and yet your credit card will still be charged each month.
The ease of use is great, I love taking the conversation from the website to texting, and it's great for that. It also makes it pretty easy to request reviews, and so that is great.
I can handle pricing disagreement but refuse to work with a dishonest company.
Lots of other benefits but this is the one I love most. We want to be in direct contact with all our customers and this tool makes it easy.
I am totally disgusted with Podium. They took 6 months to set my account up completely.
We have loved how simply this makes it to solicit reviews from clients, customers, etc. The desktop computer online access to the app and its full features is powerful and awesome.
It's hard for the older user. If the client does not have a Facebook or Google account they will not be able to leave the review.
Jeffrey A.: My name is Jeff, formerly a general manager at United Kia, and in that capacity I used Podium for reputation management for our company and I would rate Podium four out of five. Prior to Podium, there was a long period of time when we did have no reputation management. We were managing our own reviews straight out of Google My Business, and in the past we'd used Podium, but we didn't actually use it very much. We underutilized it. I came back to it after a while and I was very satisfied with it. I chose Podium because I was reviewing our digital products that we utilized with the franchise, which was a Kia dealership. So Kia offers a suite of service providers, including reputation management for digital, and we chose Podium because they were in that group. Also, Kia would allow us to offset their charges because they provided the dealership money to utilize these dealer tools. And so Podium was in their program and that's one of the reasons I chose Podium. Podium made it easy to get started. I had two points of contacts. I don't recall exactly what their titles or their positions were. I believe one of them was kind of setting up the initial process in the beginning, and then the other one I believe would be our relationship manager, I suppose. But they made it easy, two or three meetings online and then we were up and running and it was very simple, seamless process. I only set it up for myself. We also had an advertising agency was involved with it, but they were busy and so they didn't participate and he had experience using Podium already anyway, so I set it up all by myself and I was the only user on Podium. Advice for people considering Podium. It's an easy move to make. There should be no problems. I had no issues with my setup. It was easy and seamless and they did a great job. I used the app on my phone all of the time. It gave me instant access to somebody that might have an issue to give us a poor rating, and I could contact them personally at a moment's notice. No problems with that. I would say in my case, from the time that I set up to, we used it for about four months when I discontinued. I didn't receive any phone calls from our account manager. It would've been nice for him to get in touch. Our dealer group ended up using Podium corporate wide, and for some reason I got my account... I kept getting a bunch of activities for those other stores, which I didn't understand. I tried to change the settings. It would've been nice to have the account manager be more in touch and he could have helped me solve that problem. Ultimately, we went away from Podium to another product because the other product offered an initial screen or filter question, which was, "Are you satisfied with our business?" At which point you'd be able to reply. If they say no, you could reply to that immediately and prevent them from... Well, not prevent them, but you'd be able to get ahead of them posting a negative reply first. It would be simple for Podium to do this, and I'm suspecting that they would probably make that move ultimately in the future. But overall, my experience was great with Podium. There's a few features that they could add that would make their product better, and one of them would be... And I'm sure account managers, some of them are great, some of them aren't so great. My guy was okay but didn't have much follow up.
