OneSignal empowers over 2M users at mobile-first companies of all sizes to drive retention and revenue growth through a modern omnichannel customer engagement platform.
Great collaboration and helpful customer support. The team takes their time to advise and help out with possible issues that.
The dashboard / admin panel has some UI/UX problems that halt optimal usage of the software.
The software offers various options on how to engage with your audiences. We mainly use the push messages and that quite successfully with the help of Notificare's segments and tags.
Maybe the software can be translated in Dutch Just kidding, no negative feedback.
Super easy and pro-active service as well as incredible support. Instructions about integrations are very well explained and technical questions are provided.
The only feature that I sometimes miss would be another way on how to track analytics and data about users.
Tons of features, great support and continuously improving. Would definitely recommend.
Notificare is the techy one out there, the usability of the dashboard is ok but has a higher learning curve. Some visualisation capabilities are limited, but their API's and SDKs make up for it.
It helps to engage more users and they are helping us growing our audience. They provide a very easy way to communicate to our users and provide them updates and up sell products.
I've have some concern about how the data used by my instance are used by the company. The template miss the possibility to inject value, this can be a big problem to use it.
The best thing that i love about one signal is their dashboard and tools, They provide flexibility for implementation of apis and reach users while they are navigating into our apps.
In a rare situation of migrating to a new domain name or App, you cannot carry the subscribers along which makes them useless.
Even if you're not, there are probably videos you can find that'll guide you through doing whatever you might want to achieve with it. Thank this to the awesome community build around it.
I can not get ANY subscribed users to actually receive any notifications. I have tried ALL troubleshooting options to no avail.
Push notifications that work really great on web and mobile devices, clean interface with a bunch of features that easy the way we develop and they have a great support.
OneSignal 503s quite often sometimes push notifications fail, although these issues have happened less and less over time.
Tomas P.: Hey, I'm Tomas. I'm a software developer, and I work for a software developing company that has 20 people. I rate OneSignal four out of five. Before using OneSignal, I was using Firebase push notification system, but it didn't work that well because we couldn't actually track any of the journeys or anything that we were trying to fix in terms of the opening of the push notifications because we didn't have a dedicated panel for us to actually see how those messages were performing. So that's why we find out in OneSignal solution we needed to actually implement for push notification [inaudible 00:00:40]. We started using OneSignal first because it's free at the beginning, and you can right away start using it. And because of the very well documented SDK implementation they have for every single platform that we actually used. So we use hybrid mobile applications, and they actually had an SDK for every single one of the implementations we had. And as well, they actually included email and web push notifications as well. So it was supernatural for us to actually use it in our project right away, right out of the box. And it didn't cost us anything until we actually needed to have a expanded amount of push notifications being sent and reports of the performance we were getting from the push notifications. So right at the bat it was free, so there was no harm for actually trying it out, and that's why we started using it. When we started using OneSignal, it was actually pretty easy to start it with because I actually created a proof of concept so I could show it to my teammates and people in the project management branch because we were trying to use a new implementation and a new technology for the push notifications so we were getting different options. So OneSignal was really easy to actually get to work first for web, because we were using a web platform, and then seeing what it will take to actually make it work in a mobile application. It was like a no-brainer for us to actually start using it. If anyone is thinking about using OneSignal, I'll probably just point out the fact that they don't have WhatsApp integration. So for example, if you're aiming for a Latin American kind of market where people usually use WhatsApp as the way of the communication or the communication channel, you're probably going to want to have another option like Twilio or anything like that. But anything else you can actually use OneSignal for, you can actually use it for email journeys or campaigns to actually see open rates and everything in a single dashboard. So using OneSignal give you the opportunity to use, no matter what language you're using, no matter what platform you're actually developing for, there is going to be an option for you to actually be able to use it in a very easy way. They have a really good documentation, so if you are thinking on using OneSignal, that's going to be like a breeze for you to actually get started with it.
