Productboard vs ftrack: Which is a better fit?

Integration with other tools has been a great benefit. However, the collaboration, prioritisation and visualization of the product roadmap is the best and most used features.

The billing mechanism of individual plan is awful experience.

There is no better way to record your feedback and, more importantly, link your feedback to a feature that a user has asked for. Also: the ability to strategically view all features is amazing.

As mentioned above, it is hard sometimes to detach yourself from the feedback you are writing up and often I find myself arriving at a conclusion and then re-editing other feedback.

I like how you can visually see and update all of the progress of your projects. It is easy to collaborate with other teammates and customize the solution to your team's specific needs.

Productboard's UI and organizational structure makes it a bit difficult to understand who specifically gave you the feedback.

Searchong for already submitted requests can be difficult. Constant moderator required.

As long as we are on top of it, ftrack is a reliable source of information and lets me know what state any given task is in. I also appreciate the robust filtering and dashboard options.

This is a problem because notes can easily be missed if you are unaware of a new note being made on a new version, or if you expect that note to be on another task level.

Customer service and support has been excellent. Extremely happy with the service and the product.

Hard to remove files uploaded in error/ edit the names of files in software. This might just be an admin/ user privilege issue though.

Overview and dashboards are great. Actions and ability to customise product with it.

Limited interface customization possibilities.

Good resource visibility and tasks overview. Like that a lot is customisable and can be adjusted to different needs.

Hard to navigate sometimes with too many clicks.
