What I like most about google docs is that it allows me to organize information, notes, records, and more in an easy and seamless manner. I also likes that it integrates onto different devices.

If 1no file fails to load in a revision, it can sometimes mess up the revision and need to all be resubmitted. I also find that the search feature can be difficult to navigate large file structures.
The quality that I like most about Viewpoint is the ease of use. The design is very intuitive and the layout is simple and uncomplicated.
The naming of drawing can be confusing for new starters.
Strong robust system with good workflow management for document controls and approvals. Good security controls, with flexibility to manage security requirements.
I have yet to come across a disadvantage using this software.

Poor mobile access to information for viewing drawings on tablets. Not connected to the Field View platform.

So before I had Google Docs and we're talking many, many years ago, it was before everything was in the cloud. We had used Microsoft Word and just the ability to work in the cloud made such a huge difference for us. So we chose Google Docs because, I mean, for starters it was free and that was back in the day when you'd have to pay to use Microsoft Word and so we wanted to give Google Docs a try, again, because it was free. But also it was in the cloud and we didn't have to use space up on our computer to save documents. So getting started with Google Docs was super easy. It was the same as using any other similar Microsoft Word style program. It just jumped in with both feet and it was a piece of cake. So just jump in with both feet for Google Docs. It's super simple to use. Anyone who can use a computer in this day and age can use Google Docs. It's a no-brainer.
