Dentrix Enterprise vs DEXIS Imaging Suite: Which is a better fit?

I love that the customer service representatives are so helpful and patient with me every time I call. They are always there to help and very friendly and professional.

Also setting up the printing options for treatment plans is confusing and my defaults often are lost, possibly because we have multiple servers.

We are a Medical/Dental clinic, so we integrate with an EHR for our billing and appointments which is seamless with the help of support. Supports knowledge is very impressive.

Having a multiple location practice is difficult due to bandwidth problems on imaging. You might need to have separate imaging databases for each location.

It has wonderful features and is user friendly. Their customer support is wonderful, easy to use and can even be accessed online via chat.

Graphics are rather weak. Requiring offices to pay for the support teams and AR reports that are not intuitive is not comprehensible.

Love the design of the modules and appointment book views. Easy to bill out of, and works good with HL7 interface.

It doesn't flow very well for our office, the ledger is difficult to work out of, and running reports is a major pain.

It's been amazing, we use it everyday. The doctors like the quality and I like the ease of capturing x-rays quickly.

Occasionally crashes the computer or causes it to freeze. Sometimes images get lost or placed in another patient's chart.

Dexis is a great system for x-rays and intraoral photos, images are all very clear, easy to find and system is very user friendly from booth a clinical and administrative standpoint.

Sensors that integrate with Dexis are more costly.

I think Dexis is a great option for use with dental software that doesn't have an imaging system built into it. Images are clear, well organized, easy to retrieve and send out if need be.

Sometimes when it needs an update it works slowly and gives us error.

Overall I like this app as it is very useful and easy.
