Autosoft DMS vs DealerBuilt: Which is a better fit?

It has individual accounts that help you keep track of the most specific things that in turn allow you to manage your business more effectively.

The constant glitches and computing errors the system produces. There's many functions that should be standard across the DMS world that you're unable to do in this system.

If we ever have to call them in the future for questions, it is nice that they don't charge us for talking with someone, like our previous software company did.

No way to see its problems until you purchase.

I love the simplicity and ease of use of this software.

Support will always say that a fix or feature is "in development" but its just an attempt at putting fire out. It's cheaper than many others we looked at, but you get many headaches along with it.

All departments integrated and worked well with each other. Accounting was easy and payroll especially, was very easy to run.

It is slow, it chokes off a lot, it needs updating, needs a predictive text feature / spell checker.

The ability to associate the accounting with ease of using this software is very helpful. When using other software ,it would be a challenge to associate vehicle sales and service accounting.

When a pop up message error occurs saying are you sure you want to do whatever that is frustrating to me because I obviously clicked on it because that is what I wanted to do in the first place.

Has been great getting help with any type of issue. They stand behind their product very well.

Searching for customer and vendors has a delay some days.

Software is easy to use and navigate. Customer service is excellent.

Being limited by being able to use only existing reports and the complexity of learning to use SAP Crystal Reports.

There are a lot of hidden time saving features. The layout is pretty expansive as far as the icons across the top go and also straight forward.

I am sure that the updates are often needed, but can be confusing if not informed of the update being loaded.
