Tricentis qTest vs TestMonitor: Which is a better fit?

Video record function is amazing and outstanding when we compare it to similar products. It can make script creation automated.

My problem is that I sometimes forget to click the Save button and I walk away and if the session times out - then all your work is lost.

I like how easy it is to save work, the intuitive UI and the color scheme for quick status checks. The layout is straightforward like Rally's and it can be a requirements repository.

I'm not sure if it is our implementation - but it seems to hiccup often, I randomly get errors or steps don't display.

Great to control the quality process and improve our test case development process.

Along with this, some of the qTest add-ons such as Insights are very difficult to work with and not intuitive as normal data analysis tools.

Its a nice tool for test management with good support available online.

Sometimes, the requirements between qTest and JIRA did not sync well. There were many times where the number of requirements in each software was not the same.

The ease of use, the good managing of issues and testresults, the good reporting on the different levels from testers to management.

I miss the notifications feature when addressing a issue to another user.

Sometimes when you go back in the system all the used filters have been rebooted. That's a little bit annoying.

It's easy to use, it gives a good view of what to do/what is done. It gives a good quality reports.

I miss also a sort of workflow management. Which user did wchich action.

The TestMonitor is very easy to set up, easy to use and gives a fantastic overview of all aspects of our business process.

Different departments are involved in our test processes and it used to be difficult to keep an overview. Every tester involved now knows what is expected of him and when.
