I had a search on the interwebs and found Splashtop offering a free trial. Installed it, used it and was immediately impressed and pleased to have found a solution that worked and fit our budget.
Support is clueless and the follow up is very poor. If you need to service your clients in a timely manner, this may not work for you.
This software makes it super easy to work from home-or anywhere you want for that matter. I liked that it allows you see your computer at work's screen.
Only downside is if you connect from one machine to a remote pc and leave it connected you can’t connect to a 2nd machine. I tried to disconnect but it never seems to work.
The remote access and control is very reliable, fast, and secure, and it's so great to be able to access any file or program while away from your computer.
This can sometimes be an annoyance in overlap over who actually is controlling the screen at one time.
I tried a few different remote access applications and for the price Splashtop is by far the best. The ease of setup and connecting to the remote systems is great.
I was a bit confused about finding the correct software package on the website.
Just in a minute, I was able to gain access to my colleague's computer, swiftly solving our inbound issues. Alongside its quick connection, I'm impressed by how simple the application is to use.
HelpWire's adaptability is limited by its lack of support for operating systems other than Windows and macOS.
Overall, I've had a great experience with HelpWire. I was immediately impressed by the platform's effectiveness and the expertise of its support team when I set out on this digital journey.
While this product has its own advantages and disadvantages, the most crucial part of it is the delayed buffering which makes the user go nuts and not get a satisfies and relevant outcome.
Overall, Helpwire is a great platform for me and I totally recommend it to all who are looking for seamless remote support.
It's a minor inconvenience, and overall the benefits outweigh this limitation. But for those times when a quick back-end fix is needed, it's something to consider.
It's a lifesaver, saving me tons of time and letting me focus on the actual problem-solving. This is debugging bliss for software engineers like me.
The least appealing aspect of HelpWire is that sometimes the wait times for connecting with an expert can be longer during peak hours. This can be a bit frustrating when you need immediate assistance.
Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Sabrina. I'm a billing specialist, and I give Splashtop Remote Control four out of five stars. And for more reviews like this, you can click below. We use Splashtop to connect to the computers that are in our offices when we're working from home. We also use it to get into the client's computer to troubleshoot and to solve problems from there. What I like the most about Splashtop is that it's really easy to use. As long as you have the credentials to the computer you want to log into, then you can just put them in, find the name of the computer, and that is all you need to do. What I do not like about Splashtop is that sometimes when you connect to another computer, first of all, you can drag and drop files. And second, it might get slower, and that takes a long time to do things on the computer that you're connected. So I think that's something that they should improve.
