I have been using Zoho Invoice for years and I love it, it is easy to use, great features to help get reviews and send messages to my clients.
I found it a hard time to change the currency of any specific invoice, and also customizing invoices as per the need is a bit confusing.
It is very cost effective. It is one of the best app for invoicing the clients and maintaining the perfect records.
Take forever to log in when for some reason i get log out. ALWAYS to many problems to log in.
My overall experience with Zoho has been amazing. The best I like about Zoho is their amazing customet service.

I love the fact that I can customize my invoices with my own branding and that it integrates seamlessly with my other business tools, like Square and PayPal.

I love how easy it is to create contracts and invoices on the fly. The customer service is pretty responsive in terms of timeliness and active listening.
There is no option for multiple currencies. There is no well-functioning application, and if any, it is not available for the region I am in (Kuwait).
First, best value for your money. Super easy to use, you're able to duplicate invoices, integrate Stripe just for certain invoices and keep track of payments all very convenient and easy.
Additionally, a "discount" line item appear and cannot be removed; it's a bad optic to show a client "hey, some people get a discount but not YOU. Discount is ZERO DOLLARS.
The 7-day trial gives you the Pro version but even the free version is amazing. The company seems like they are constantly making changes and would recommend this for new freelancers.
Current options seems limited to me when thinking about global scale.
Very happy with the software. It's always a win when you find software that actually works at a pricepoint that makes sense.
The only piece of Indy that I think needs some rethinking would be the manual time tracker. It is a lot of scrolling can lead to mistakes with input which then gives false reporting on time.
Michelle: My name is Michelle. I work for MTP Paralegal Services. I'm the owner there. And I would give Zoho Invoicing a rating of five. I was using Excel. And the problems that I was having is that it was manual. So I would have to not only input the formulas, but I would also have to export the pages or the invoices to PDF so that I could send them to my clients. And Zoho has enabled me to be able to just input the amounts and they send it to the client directly. I was already using Zoho Mail, so I saw that they offered a Zoho Invoicing and I thought I'd give it a try. So I gave it a try and I actually loved it. Using it was actually really easy because it's integrated into the Zoho Mail app, so I was able to use it from there. And I just downloaded the app, and that's also very, very easy. It's easy to set up my clients and it's easy to set up the invoices. Okay. The advice that I would give is, it's really good for small businesses because it allows you to add different contacts for the invoice. So you don't have to just add one contact, you can add email addresses, and you can also add different phone numbers. And it lets you send the email directly from the app, so you don't have to worry about sending it manually. And it also allows you to use your internal invoicing system. So for example, I already had my own numbering system, but when I transitioned, I just updated it to the Zoho Invoice, and that was really easy.
