Any organization seeking secure, reliable and easy enterprise-grade file transfer solutions with solid support for regulatory compliance and on-premise data control in a Windows environment.
Small, medium as well as large organizations.
Ease of use and full functionality is what I like a lot about this product. Phone support is great as well and reassured me that I won't be left stranded if I need help.
The amount of GB that I can provide to the user's folder is missing, that is, do not copy more GB than allowed in a folder.
Client setup for most common secure transfer scenarios is straightforward and bullet proof. Documentation and support for more advanced scenarios is superb.
Management of users by web site is too hard and non intuitive, the functions are not correctly located or they no exist.
Very easy to install and set up. Stable and secure and especially mail for new files in folders is much appreciated by users.
No settings for log rotation period, the size of logs, or other options related to logs from the GUI. Events, Reports, and eMail alerts should enable on Professional version also.
Very good product on a number of level: administration, security, reliability and possible setup for bridges between internal setups and other clients not in our environment.
Problems getting the SMTP within the program does not like our email setup. We have had to work around that.
Great - the customer service techs are VERY responsive. Shout out to the representative for always helping us out.
We had againg FTP server that had terrible security.
SynaMan is easy to use out of the box. Very straight forward configuration settings and ease of use for end users make this a winning platform for file sharing.
There is also no facility to add several users at once, which we have on occasion needed to do, and so it is a slow process.
It served us well for many years even to this day and is very stable and great value for the cost of it.
There are sometimes lag or bugs when users are searching through directories that are multiple folders deep (5+).
Good resource information and explanations on what certain features do.
Live view does not allow you to block or release messages, and sometimes messages are hard to find.
Joshua: Hi, my name is Joshua and I work with Arrows. I'm reviewing Cerberus FTP, and I'm rating Cerberus five out of five. I think we started using AWS S3 buckets to share files and collaboration with different people with the links, but I think it's difficult when you try to give different users different permissions to upload, download and all of those. With the help of Cerberus FTP, I think that was done pretty much faster. And that's a better choice for us. The main reason why we chose Cerberus FTP, it's because of the restrictions to users. It's more flexible with the URL linked to your storage server. Yeah. You can have it anywhere, on any platform on the go. Getting started with Cerberus, it's much more simpler. I think it's user-friendly and you don't need too much to know before you start up using Cerberus. It's just a straightforward installation and creating of users, users and the rest of the policies that you need to set in place. It's pretty much very simple to use. I'll advise anyone looking into SFTP sharing in terms of file collaboration in and outside your domain, your organization, I think Cerberus SFTP is the best way to go. Because it's superb in terms of user permissions to files and restriction of sharing and the rest. If you're looking into a situation where you want to deploy file services, sharing, and uploads and download and all of the rest, I think Cerberus SFTP is the best. It's just the best.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
