Kechie vs LOCATE: Which is a better fit?

I strongly endorse Kechie for any enterprise in search of an intuitive MRP/ERP system. Kechie delivers substantial cost savings alongside the ability to fulfill our company's requirements effectively.

The budget functionality missing from the current Financial Module seems particularly disappointing, as this is a major component of running a business.

It has been very user friendly and the team was great in training. Reporting is also very easy and helps with grant application.

I was concerned that if my computer crashed I would lose all the data to run my business.

Great to work with, customized solutions for our growing business, and the ease of using software.

I cannot say that I have come across any areas that I dislike in the software.

The easy, the effectiveness and reliable. My needs are not only met but my wants are exceeding my expectations.

It is somewhat difficult to distinguish when you are viewing a different sub-menu within a module.

Locate is continually rolling out improvements and additional capabilities, their customer service is responsive, pleasant and truly helpful.

For example, sales orders can't be edited in an issued status. This is inconvenient when a partial order goes out and you need to adjust the remaining order.

We feel like this is a platform that will grow with us. Locate is radically different - better, IMO - from any other inventory/order management platform in it's class and a great value for the money.

Some of the features and functionalities are still too limited.

I like the fact that it is SaaS, and they have integration with all the tools we need. The barcoding on BIN locations and the paperwork it generates has been a godsend.

The second chart of accounts threw me off a bit and it was sometimes difficult to reconcile with QBO.

I've already recommended LOCATE to two other clients, and will continue to do so. They care about their clients, and keep improving their software.

If they are weak anywhere, I would say the accounting expertise that LOCATE provided us may need another person, but that was a year ago we implemented so maybe they did that.
