Application development solution that helps businesses of all sizes with software version tracking, testing & debugging, barcode scanning, geolocation tracking, offline storage and more.
Designed to assist businesses with application development using project switches, customizable snippets, syntax changing, and more.
The ease of use with the dev tools is amazing. As long as you understand basic logic flow of programming, you can build an app without any familiarity with native mobile technology.
As with any drag and drop (it isn't purely drag and drop) service I am limited to the modules/plugins that are integrated currently.
Great product with great potential and superior customer service.
Some build errors are not explained therefore have to spend a lot of time figuring what caused them.
Without coding anything you can visually create powerful native mobile apps. Great for fast prototyping application screens.
Limited barrier to entry - cost. I did not have to hire a programmer (or two programmers) to design and code the application in the various development environments (xcode + Android Studio).
I am a python guy not swift or java. Dropsource helps me deliver a full package to my clients and myself without having to onboard another developer.
Hard to connect custom APIs. Multiple nested views to handle event driven behavior.
This is the best Coding editor which has the best font -Size, good color font, etc. It is a flexible editor that works for any platform and any source code.
I dislike the annoying popup asking you to buy the full version, as I have yet to purchase a license. I expect that this will eventually become enough of a nuisance that I'll drop the cash on it.
My overall experience with Sublime is very good especially the add-ons (like git) while developing the software make the development super easy.
Sometimes when I copy and paste my code into the editor even when there is no error,it brings an error message. Unless I type the code into the editor directly.
Sublime's greatest strength is that it is extremely easy to pick up and start working immediately. The program is intuitive and responsive, and it's an especially good text editor for students.
The popup alert to buy is annoying to multiple people including me. I do not prefer the User Experience (UX).
I like Sublime Text's speed, stability, clean UI with nice themes and it's great library full of useful plugins.
It needs more internal tools and functionalities so we will need to install extensions to exploit its power.
Patrick: Hi, I'm Patrick, and I work in customer support with Native Instruments. Our company is about 250 employees, and I would rate Sublime Text five out of five. Prior to using Sublime Text, I considered a couple other text editors. There's just the standard Windows Notepad that I used, and then there was a scripting app that people use to script with JavaScript. I can't remember the name of it, but Sublime Text was basically one of my first entries, and I found it to be just super useful and I've used it in both text and basic scripting languages. I chose Sublime Text because it was just easy to use. It's very easily accessible to find all the files that you were previously using and adding different scripting languages to Sublime until it would actually come up and tell you about the errors was really easy, and it came with a lot that were pre-installed also. So for me and everything that I needed to do, which is nothing too intensive on the scripting side but a lot of note-taking and that sort of thing, like Sublime Text, it just gets everything right. It's really easy workflow. Integrating into my workflow, Sublime Text was really easy actually because I'm already using a different app, which is actually a little bit more cumbersome, which is the Windows Notes app. And using Sublime Text, I had all the different tabs for all the different notes I had open, and it easily just saves my document based upon the first line of text, which I like. And yeah, out the gate, it was a very easy to use app for texting. So anybody that's using Sublime Text ... or anybody that isn't using Sublime Text or maybe is just in the market for a text editing app, I definitely think Sublime Text is a great choice. I would suggest it to my friends and anybody else because it's just so easy to use and out the gate, whether you're an expert scripter or you're just somebody that just needs to take notes, it handles both of those things in a really seamless kind of effortless way, and it's easy to use and it's free. So, I definitely suggest it.
