Capterra’s researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Capterra carefully verified over 2 million reviews to bring you authentic software and services experiences from real users. Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI. Learn more.
Capterra lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. Capterra is free for users. Software and service providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website. Void analysis is fantastic and extremely useful. Custom tools made for our team are extremely valuable and Siteseer's team has done a fantastic job programming those tools.
A few SiteSeer functions seem a bit outdated in terms of usability. For example, the process to save/name a scenario and the inability to drag a scenario to move it to another folder.
It's simple to use and creates clear, easy to read reports. Customer service is clearly a huge priority for this company and it has been a joy to work with them.
The main thing I have disliked about this software is the issues it runs into when trying to import a large data set for a scenario.
We thoroughly appreciate Tom and Andy's abilities and willingness to think through ideas with us (and even suggest their own) as we work to enhance our product and, in turn, our business decisions.
Finding accurate traffic counts is hard because I don't know where the data is being pulled from.
Great product, outstanding support and drives informed business decisions.
The thematic maps in my opinion are virtually useless and in some cases limits the ability to tell a story about a trade area or region.
Having the ability to integrate many different file types is a great feature that makes this software awesome.
The opensource nature of the product led to a lack of overall support and compatibility. I experienced constant problems, slow-downs, freezes, and crashes with the program.
Easy to use, for free, the people that runs the software are awesome, you can choose to pay to help the development, the best.
As I'm very new to QGIS, it's sometimes difficult to find all the functions that I need, there are a lot of options which can make it difficult in use.
My over all experience with QGIS is great. It's an amazing value with it's community created tool box.
It has very few points against it, maybe it takes a little while to process heavy images and it has many updates that sometimes confuse me.
Powerful, reliable, easy to use, extendable... and free (as in free beer and free speech).
Something I don't like is that sometimes the application closes and does not have recovered files, so you have to start again.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
