For creators of all skill levels and across all devices.
It worked perfectly, with the audio rightly synced with the video, again I used it to do a screen record of a group video chat, I got a very good quality output.
Depending on the size of the file, there's sometimes a really bad lack in the feed. It makes it hard to time when to switch to different media sources to keep from having an awkward moment.
The best feature of this program I like is the ability to create multiple scenes and have a variety of different looks to the content I can create.
OBS has some infrequent issues with losing setup details and losing audio / video sync that seem to be related to allowing the software to "idle" for too long.
I had an awesome experience and got very impressive with a free and open source software with such level of features.
Can be very difficult to record if you're doing a lot of takes (ie. recording a presentation), and can be somewhat confusing to get started out of the gate.
I like that OBS allows me to make Facebook streaming with a better sound quality and also helps me to share my screen, pictures or videos.
I did find that if I stopped and restarted a stream on OBS (without closing and reopening OBS), OBS would freeze or crash on an iMac that I was using.
Unbelievably, it is super easy - a very good platform for a beginner like me in this field. The most important is due to the high quality video outputs, I have now significant amount of viewers.
The video editing on the PC can sometimes be painful due to lag even on my HP Zbook G3 17. Zooming in and out of the timeline was at times frustrating.
The free version of this software belongs to everyone's liking and so, everyone like me will be satisfied by using it, during uploading the project.
Will any of them run on a weak computer with no graphics card.
I love all the features put in free trial mode, its the best software out there. Its got all my favorite effects when a picture or a video transitions to the next, such cool effects.
Sometimes my mobile tend to crash when I added more texts and effects to the videos. Otherwise there are no big problems with power director.
Very powerful and feature-rich. Also a great value compared to other leading video editing software solutions.
I want A stabilizing features in this Software, because, my some video footage little shaky.
Matthew T.: I'm Matthew. I'm a pastor at Astoria Christian Church, and I would rate OBS as a five out of five. Before we used OBS, we weren't really using anything and we had just researched to various options and programs that were available, and OBS quickly jumped out and we started using that from the beginning. OBS, again, quickly jumped out as the best program for us, primarily because it's a free software, it's an open software that we could get easily and use quickly, and it connected well with the streaming services we were using and the cameras we had available, and very user-friendly and to begin with. Once we got things set up, it ran really smoothly. Again, primarily because it was a free open software and connected to YouTube and the things that we're using to stream. Getting started with OBS, again, was pretty simple. The costs being free, just being able to download it and get it installed was quick and easy. The initial setup took us some time. Our internet service and speed needed to be, software adjustments needed to be made and settings needed to be adjusted in OBS to get everything to work well with our system and our setup, but once we got it set up, once we had all the information inputted right, and the settings set right, it ran really smoothly. Over time, as we've increased our internet speed here, we've been able to adjust the settings again and be able to get a little better quality as well. The initial setup was a little bit time-consuming, and again, working through the details of the settings and making sure it ran smoothly and appropriately. Once we got it set up though it was really smooth sailing after that. I would say the main thing I would recommend when downloading and getting OBS in your system and your setup is just make sure you look ahead and maybe research some videos or other advice as far as initial setup and getting things kind of ironed out, making sure you maybe even have someone you can bounce some ideas or questions off of to get it initially set up especially, but also making sure your platform's ready. We ran into YouTube more of the side of it where we had to have a setup with YouTube for a day or two before we could get it all connected and everything. Making sure all the bells and whistles or all the other side of things is ready to go. Then when you install it and get those settings made up, that'll help a lot. Also, making sure and checking internet speed before you even get OBS would be helpful as well, so you know where your starting point is and if you need to adjust those settings down or up, dependent upon quality and your speed of internet and other programs that you'll be using with it.
Speaker 1: Hi, I'm Jared, and I'm the CEO of Kenya Marketing Agency. We're a three to five men business and growing, and I would give PowerDirector a four out of five stars. I used to have DevEx and I also used to have a few other phone software apps. But the issue with a lot of the apps is scaling your content down to a mobile format and size. And a lot of the times you can't really pick your qualities with most recording apps. And the issue why that's a bigger problem is because most storage on mobile phones or devices is very limited. So if I can be able to control the file size and the quality from the jump, I don't have to compromise on what things I can do for editing or video creation. PowerDirector is allowing me to be able to access my content from any device, whether I'm on my phone, a tablet, a laptop, and use my content from the cloud simultaneously when I'm creating content so that there's no gap or loss in how I'm creating and how I'm also being able to direct or cut or edit my content when I go. The ease of use that I've had from any scale is very simple for me. I'm usually a power user with a lot of apps, so I'm very technical, but with PowerDirector, I don't have to have a hassle of starting an app or trying to figure out how to log in. I just can shoot, cut, edit, add what I need to do on the go, and I can move my form factor depending on what device I have. For anybody that's in their beginning or learning educational phases, when they're starting to do content or direction or build social media platform or influencer stage, I would recommend them to try PowerDirector because it allows you to seamlessly transfer from a cell phone to a laptop, to a tablet without having to have a difficulty of file transfers, format types, and even your content structure. Now, for somebody that's on the higher end of directing and video, I know AI is a bigger thing, so if you consider that as a factor or you prefer to use a digital workstation, then PowerDirector would be able to compliment what you already have in that you don't have to wait to post your content. You can actually see it live, see how you want to put it out, and then release your content for your audience.
