I liked that the pricing is excellent, and that I can do outbound and inbound recruiting all in one platform. The Loxo Source database is excellent, very similar to LinkedIn boolean search.
It's basically a warehouse for my resumes for now until I migrate out. I'm disappointed in myself for picking Loxo and should have done more homework.
Easy to use great service fast reliable good customer service ai is pretty good (even thought i didn't use it much).
But I can always respond, "My ATS already does that at no additional cost.
I have been using the Loxo free version and just decided to invest in the premium version and I am super excited as there are so many more benefits & features.
Some of the layout could use some tweaking- I'll add a company address and it's not clearly displayed on the company file etc.
You can do a lot more with this software if you use it fully, as it will show you your metrics in all areas important to you, thereby helping you improve your business processes.
No more need for multiple software vendors to find people and communicate with clients and candidates.
Over all I am happy and positive about the product and would absolutely recommend as long as the features and improvements continue to be released.
Sometimes finds the wrong emails. It does not talk to LinkedIn.
I liked the ease of use and seamless set-up for automated workflows and candidate management. I also love that we can create campaign and keep candidates engaged through email campaigns.
Also, sometimes the boolean search says that there are no results but if we erase it and re-enter the same boolean search it works again, so no big deal.
Gem is really good for recruitment and obtaining data for better outreach, especially in Recruitment and HR roles.
Sending inmail sequence is not automated and that is a lot of stress.
Some of my favorite features include the talent pipeline, personalizing analytics dashboard, and the outreach stats to track which versions of sequences work best.
Sometimes the integration between Lever and Gem doesn't work and some candidates get lost.
Scott: My name is Scott. I'm head of recruiting. We have 40 people in our company, and I give GEM a rating of five on a scale of one to five. Prior to GEM, I was using LinkedIn Recruiter exclusively, which, InMails just don't get through to every candidate. A lot of people, including myself, don't look at InMails often, and GEM was able to find email addresses. It was able to send drip campaigns, because the first message, a lot of people ignore, second message also. And it also shows if the person opened up your email or not. All the reasons. So I've chosen GEM at three different companies. I've brought it with me. It was actually a condition of my employment at one company, where I would not accept if they did not give me GEM. All the reasons. It allows you to see if someone opened the email that you sent them. It allows you to track if they clicked on a link, and how many times and when. And it also shows if the email bounced. So those are some of the reasons I've used it. Getting set up with GEM is super easy. I can do it within a day. It's very fast. The other thing that I started using in the last two years at this current company is their analytics, which are linked to Greenhouse, and that was very easy to set up as well. If you're thinking about using GEM, definitely try out a few other products. A lot of them will offer a two-week free trial. I've used several of them, but consistently keep going back to GEM. Make sure you integrate it with everything that you can. Calendly, Greenhouse or any ATS, they're going to be integrated with it, and definitely use all those integrations.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
