Aerotrac vs Blue Eye: Which is a better fit?

Aerotrac tries to offer a solution for the entire aircraft maintenance process, making it strong in some domains. The support team is great with clear guidelines and help, and always responds fast.

On the system itself maybe only cancelling a goods receipt/batch can be a little complicated, outside of this it is hard to think of anything.

I have used Aerotrac for over 20 years and have highly recommended it to several companies who have adopted the system and are very happy with their choice.

Some of the selling/buying price features can be difficult to set correctly.

Technicians are now able to perform work that they were employed for, hands on maintenance on the bench which increased the focus on quality and reliability of the work they are performing.

This should be hugely simplified. And moved over to the main Aerotrac program to avoid long wait times).

Working with the team at Aerotrac is always a pleasure, they are very helpful and are always quick to respond to any queries we have.

Sometimes humans make mistakes and simple typo errors are not easy to correct, but I guess this adds to the reliability of the data returned.

Since I used this software (10 years) I improved my efficiency in tracking management and increased the recognition of competency from my CAA.

The software requires in-depth knowledge in order to use all functionalities to what they are designed for. It is difficult to get suggested improvements/amendments implemented in the software.

Super easy to use , the automatic Calculation super to upload to MRX camo.

Good software for MRO, but as I said, problems with office working reports. All reports are generated very poor and take a lot of cap.

Great and Affordable CAMO/MRO/STOCK software for General Aviation, Helicopters, Business Aviation.

Hard to find a cons but may be the different setting for wall paper option, with halloween style, Valentin etc.

The system is ideally suitable for good data control, as your fully in charge of the whole system and database. It provides the user to keep multiple aircraft types in the system.

The database for new useres is empty, and has to be filled in properly. This is a big workload to be scheduled in time.
