Teams looking to collaborate remotely over a whiteboard.
Helps me manage my projects, especially the creative projects. It's flexible and fun to use.
I did purchase it one month at a time, but that was annoying.
The visual appearance is beautiful and feels like bullet journaling, and the ability to adjust the boards to any length or width is a fantastic feature.
I can't think of anything I strongly dislike about the software. There are very occasional bugs with the Chrome browser extension, but restarting Chrome usually fixes this.
I absolutely love Milanote and the ease of use for the tool. It's my go-to for client presentations and I love that boards can be downloaded into a PDF or word doc for easy sharing.
Milanote falls short in some functionalities, such as lacking edit history tracking and restricting content on mobile app for TikTok and Instagram posting.
It is perfect for anyone who likes to see their thoughts laid out in a visual way. Really easy to use and I love the colour options.
I purchased a yearly subscription and after 6 months I realized I only used it for about 40 days. So purchasing a yearly subscription for 80 days of use is a waste of money.
A powerful assistant in all your processes thanks to an integrated structure. Easy to use interface provides more active use thanks to its simple structure.
Limited feature set, templates and functionality that makes for a poor choice compared to other online whiteboards such as Miro, Mural.
You can get up and running very quickly with it and also it supports digital pen usage which is fantastic especially if you are diagramming or explaining something to someone. I love this application.
I don't have anything that I dislike about this software.
What I like the most about Microsoft Whiteboard is its shape recognition, I love it, as it speeds up drawing time and improves its quality.
There is also a redundant "note" tool that mimics Post-It notes, but it is unclear what the purpose of these notes is intended to be, since there is no visibility control toggle, etc.
I have had a good experience with the software. It helps me express my ideas clearly as I can use a range of mediums like images, text and sketches.
It is hard to download the app for the desktop.
Speaker 1: Hi, my name's Megan. I'm a freelance copywriter and blogger. I'm reviewing Milanote, and my review for Milanote is four stars. And for more reviews like this, click below. I began using Milanote when it was in beta stage, and before that I had not really used any similar programs. The closest things that I've used would be some mind mapping apps just through Play Store on my phone, and maybe Evernote for note-taking and saving links and things like that. But Milanote is quite unique. It's more of a mind mapping note-taking software, I guess. So, yeah, I don't think there's any other software that's exactly like it. I chose to start using Milanote because, like I said, it was in the beta stage, and I like to try a new software. But yeah, I just liked the idea of the visual layout of the mind mapping style of collecting information and saving links and images and notes and everything. Yeah. So, I started to just see what it was like, and, yeah, I thought it was pretty good. The onboarding was really quite simple. It's easy to use. You just click the button if you want to add an image or a link or a note or a list. There's a side bar that's got the buttons that you can click to add new things to your boards. You can create new boards and add things to your boards. And, yeah, I found it really easy to use, which is one of the things I like about it. If anyone's considering using Milanote, I recommend giving it a try, definitely. I think they have a free plan. I'm not sure what the limits are because I think I got special limits because I started using it so early on. But definitely give it a try because it's quite unique, and it allows you to do quite a lot of things on there. And just the visual layout can be really helpful for some people. If you're planning like a website design or even just planning content for your website, it can be really useful to store the information there and have it all laid out so that you can see it. They also now have templates that you can use to help you plan out different things. They've come a long way since they started in beta, so I'd definitely recommend that if you're thinking of giving it a try, give it a go.
Laura M.: Hi, my name is Laura. I am an office manager for a consulting firm employing approximately 11 people. I would rate a Whiteboard a four out of five. We were communicating just via email. We're a small firm, so we would email back and forth, but emails get lost, people update, and then they forget to update people what status they are on projects, so we implemented Whiteboard. So, sometimes, if you're working late at night, you can just put a quick note on the status of a project, and everyone is updated at the same time, without interrupting somebody's evening, or assuming that maybe they didn't see the update, or did see the update. People are busy, so Whiteboard has really helped people stay up to date at the same time. Okay, we chose Whiteboard because we wanted something that worked within the Microsoft 365 program that would speak to OneDrive, which we use, and some of the other features that we use within Microsoft Office and Whiteboard fit that criteria. We wanted something that almost looked like Post-it notes and could act as a quick update without having to put in a lot of extra detail. Implementing Whiteboard was very simple. I would say we were up and running with it within five minutes. It provides some great user-friendly templates, and so it was easy to start collaborating right away. I think for anyone starting out with Whiteboard, I might just start with asking them what features and benefits are important to them, so that you can select the best template to get your company up and running, and everyone can be on the same page at the same time.
