Animaker vs Biteable: Which is a better fit?

Lora: I'm Lora. I'm a career coach in the professional services industry. Today I'm going to review the Animaker video software. I give it a rating of four. The business problem that I solve using Animaker video software is that in my communications with my customers, I have to repeat the same information and it's quite a bit of detail. The best thing that I could think of was to put together a cartoon that I could use to explain all of those details and direct my new customers and clients over to see that, and Animaker's video software helped me do that. What I like most about using Animaker video software is that it was free to start, so I got a really good connection with it, understanding how I was going to use it and explain my story, and then I was able to just do a simple upgrade, very inexpensive, and got quite a few more details, a lot of actions from the different characters I was able to build and even building customized characters. Now it tells my story for me and I don't have to repeat myself. What I dislike about Animaker is that the menu system is not very user-friendly. Once you get finished with your video, you have one selection which is to download. Once it downloads, you then get an email that tells you that your video is downloaded and gives you a link. Once you click on that link, it takes you to another screen of your video and your option again is download or to share with social media. I think it would be better if the first download was compiled for download. That way we would know that we're actually not hitting our download at this point. We could still go back and make an edit before we do our final download.

So actually before Biteable, I didn't have anything, but I was researching several different things like promo and was trying to use iMovie, but we didn't have clips of our own. And really at the end of the day, Biteable was the most user-friendly and the price point was the best. So Biteable is what I ended up going with and still love the most. I really chose Biteable because the platform is super user-friendly. It's click and drag. It's easy to search the kinds of clips that you need, the kinds of templates that you need for the kinds of videos that you need to create. Whether you're looking to do something that's informational or educational. In our business, we both need to do some marketing things, but we also have some coursework that we have clients do. And so being able to build videos that are short but also build into the curriculum that we have them work through. We're really able to do all of that using the templates, and the more you use the software, obviously the more you can do with it. So getting started with Biteable took, it took a little bit of time, just like anything does. Right? You've got to get in there and learn how it works. But really for the most part, Biteable was very intuitive. And once you got the hang of it, it was easy to use and really, it wasn't hard to become an expert at using it. There are some features that you can, the more tech savvy you are. I began to realize I could upload. I could get a free subscription to some royalty free music and add my own music to my library, and I could upload that and use music as my background, or there are other features that I got more comfortable using, but getting started was really easy because I'm not really that tech savvy. I think try it out, for sure. And compare it because these days people want video content. We all go to video first. If we don't know how to do something, we don't want to read about it. We want to go to YouTube and just watch somebody doing it or see a video doing it. So to me, Biteable is a really easy way to get started creating some video content for whatever you're trying to communicate. So to me, it's the easiest, most accessible, affordable way to create your own video content for your end user.
