Sematext is very easy to navigate by providing a nice interface environment without complicated clutter. The documentation is also amazing.
Missing feature: Filtering the context view (e.g. if there is an exception, displaying its context works, but I cannot limit that context).
Sematext support was overall positive and they are super helpful when integrating with the tech stack.
Documentation missing for old agents - Ubuntu < 16. Agent once crashed - cause is still unknown.
Sematex has impressed us in recent months for its ability to deliver robust tools for analyzing and mining the information present in our logs.
At times the data showed up slightly delayed than our expectations, however it is not something that happened frequently enough to escalate the concern.
They are constantly working on the product and increasing their offerings. They offer customers the chance to trial new products and give feedback, which is fantastic.
The way accounts are set up, where you have to log in then "become" the account owner to see your logs is strange, and needs to be explained to each new user.
It has great collections of wizards that can help you with the monitoring and automation of your system. I also love that there is a Chrome extension now, for monitoring and debugging my JS code.
The downsides are minor, and boil down to a few UI flaws and the lack of a dark/night mode, which is a personal preference.
Overall experience is really good, after purchasing software not only the product was extraordinary but the services are great too.
It is a pity that there is no plug-in for angular 9 yet.
Germain APM fulfills me all business needs. We get better quality in cheap price which is a good thing for any consumer.
One downside of this apm is that some interface sections are not as simple or intuitive for the user's experience.
Overall it's a great developed concept that will save a lot of your time and improve productivity which is highly important.
The learning curve is a bit steep, probably expected from a fully featured monitoring platform. I struggled to get started and it took a lot of time to find my way in the documentation.
