Kangarootime vs Playground: Which is a better fit?

KangarooTime helps us communicate effectively with our parents, and organize our tuition and paperwork. We love the checking in and out feature.

The amount of work to do one entry is ridiculous. I can't stand the fact that if I have one simple question, I have to schedule an apt and it is usually 4 or 5 days out.

The parents love the real time updates and the staff loves the visual cues and intuitive use. I love that parents can pay online and I now receive over 90% of tuition in the first week of each month.

Software does not allow admin to restrict staff to a certain IP address, meaning staff are clocking in/out from anywhere (potential for abuse if staff are clocking in from the parking lot, etc.).

I am very happy with the decision to stay with Kangarootime - we did research other child care management software when taking over this facility and felt that this one best suited our needs.

Errors occurring but I know the system updates a lot.

I LOVE That this program is easy to access and that the staff at Kangarootime are so available to help and assist with any questions, concerns or suggestions that you may have.

The app does not notify families when a photo has been sent and our teachers find it difficult to manage the "rooming" feature.

I love that my families find it so user friendly. As a director, my job is to keep my parents happy and their kids safe - and Playground does both.

If you miss payroll one week, it's a pain to get everything back on track.

Costumer service is amazing, it takes them 10 to 15 minutes to reply. If they are unable to figure out your need they put a ticket in to help find the best solution.

There is sometimes bad cell reception near our facility making the app glitch.

PERRRFECT - From learning about the program, purchasing and onboarding as well as user-friendly platform and quick response time. WIN WIN WIN!!! Plus the price is unbeatable.

Sometimes the app can be slow or random numbers will be wrong - we always assume it is a glitch, close the app and it usually fixes it.

I highly recommend Playground to any daycare or childcare center looking for a reliable, secure, and user-friendly management solution.
