Perimeter 81 vs PRTG Enterprise Monitor: Which is a better fit?

This right here is the BEST VPN I have ever had the pleasure of using. Before Perimeter 81, I had this line in my bashrc file to greet me in a 'fun' way every time I opened the terminal.

Depending on where you're connecting from, VPN can cut in and out affecting performance. I had to turn it off a few times because the reconnecting was disrupting a virtual meeting.

This is a highly recommended VPN. Our company is very satisfied with the ease of use for our team and the customer support offered by the P81 team.

Horrible, their support for Small Business is nonexistent.

10; great product (for this happy guy who doesn't have to administrate it or pay for it at least).

It will sometimes not connect automatically to the VPN and it’s easy to forget to reconnect manually which can be annoying.

I love how easy it is to successfully switch VPN locations.

We moved away from P81 due to it missing some features, however when speaking to them they were on the road map. I think the product has a lot of potential to grow and evolve.

Overall experience has been good, it does what it says and it has been very useful for monitoring our systems.

Having to license and manage a windows server just for PRTG is a bummer.

The ease of setting up and the flexibility that the system has. The range of tools PRTG offers is amazing for its price.

I run a single server with close to 10,000 sensors, which is considered the maximum for a single server and I see performance problems from time to time because I run it at red line.

The ease of setup was wonderful and it served almost all our needs out of the box.

Too hard to read sometimes about notification.

The support and documentation of the solution is very good. It even allows you to integrate with other solutions and/or create your own sensors.

Its hard to find something, set up the notification hierarchy, small improvmnet in notification email looks.
