VPN is a service that gives you safe and private access to the internet. By encrypting your connection, a VPN hides your IP and online activity from spying eyes and cybercriminals.
Users who need secure Internet access with ability to change locations with a single click.
Nord VPN offers a great solution if you want security. Much better than its market competitors with an enthusiastic customer service.
We are well under the device limit, but it still prompts a login. This is inconvenient for non-technical people, but a small annoyance for power users.
I really love having lots of servers! fast safe product! customer service is always available, very nice! they can help.
We are having problems with geolocation, i.e. users in different countries, sites being localized or blocked.
The VPN software is affordable and one of the best on the market. The software is reliable and trusted by many users.
Many ads its make me annoying & boring to this product.
The most important things for me from VPN providers are the price and connection quality and nordVPN gives both. Not only it is affordable and have great discount programs, the connection is amazing.
Plan renewal dates seemed to change over the 3 months I used it so I missed this first cancellation date so needed to pay for an extra month.
It allows me to work worry-free from coffee shops and on shared WiFi, safe in the knowledge that my information is secure and not being snooped on. It's fantastic in that respect, and I trust it.
Very occasionally I seem to lose connectivity and have to disconnect and reconnect, but this doesn't happen frequently enough to be a major problem.
This software offers a free plan with 10 GB of monthly data, which is fantastic. It helps to get experience of the service before committing to a paid subscription.
The pricing model, it has different pricing for different set of countries and amount of data for VPN and it can get a little confusing.
I think the best thing is that you can share your account with unlimited users. So all my family can use a great VPN for a very good price.
Slower than other competitors. When I connect the VPN automatically, the VPN always chooses a poor server a.k.a farthest server instead nearest server based on my real IP.
Windscribe attracted me with their impressive free tier. I was so happy with the service I am now a premium subscriber.
While this is a minor complaint, it bothers me none the less.
Joe M: Hi, I'm Joe, and I am a VP of new product development, rating this NordVPN product about four out of five stars. And for more reviews like this, just click below. We did a lot of research on the VPN security tools as the pandemic hit and we had to put a lot of employees working from home. I looked at McAfee and I looked at Norton, and while they seemed like good products, they were very pricey. We chose NordVPN over the others for several reasons. Number one is it has an amazing reputation, but more than that, it was substantially cheaper. I was able to get a two year deal, and I can't remember what the price was, but it was really somewhere about half the price of what the others were charging. And it was really, really easy to implement and is easy to use and easy to update. Onboarding and integrating the product was very easy. It was really a matter of once we purchased a product, sending a link to all of our employees, having them download it and create their user and their login and they were up and running. I would certainly recommend Nord to anybody who's in this ... looking for a service like this, especially a small company like ours. We are very cost conscious and these guys are really, really well-priced, and it works very, very well, simple to use.
Karambir: Hi, my name's Karambir. I'm the CEO. I give Windscribe a four. And for more reviews like this, click the link below. So I tested a number of different products and eventually chose Windscribe. I don't remember the names of the products because it's been a couple of years. But Windscribe came up in a lot of the searches for best VPN, and I found that it met my needs so I went with it. Initially, I just wanted privacy. So I was using Windscribe, the app, on my phone or my computer, but eventually I realized that I wanted to run it from the router in my home office. And so, it turns out that they support OpenVPN. So you get all of the benefits without having to install the Windscribe app on each and every device, which I think is great, and it works like a charm. As far as setting up the app for a phone or a smart device or for the desktop, easy peasy, not really a problem. When I wanted to set up my router to use OpenVPN, I had to do a lot of research on my own. They provided minimal setup for specific routers and specific device combinations. So I had to do a little legwork there, but it was well worth it. I eventually found the documentation and I was able to set it up. So if you're going down that route, you want to do some research first before you actually try and install. If you're thinking about using Windscribe for your business, you want to be aware of, what is your goal? Are you trying to access certain networks in certain countries? Are you just looking for protection? Is there a Windscribe link or a set of servers in your state, or not? Because not all are supported, so you want to have some information about your geographic relationship. And then also, what is the feature set you're looking to have supported for your use?
