Nitro serves individuals and businesses of all sizes by providing affordable document productivity tools; but, our deepest, richest product offerings are designed for large enterprise organizations.
Lumin’s world-renowned PDF editor is used by over 100 million people worldwide. Designed to be accessible to all users, no matter their digital skillset.
This is a great alternative to some of the higher priced PDF software available. I need to edit documents before sending them out and the editing ability of Nitro is excellent.
Overall less than poor and I'm tired of no support and an expectation that I should pay for it...to reactivate on new computer.
And the best of all is that the program can convert scanned texts into editable texts, which is very useful if you work, like me, with daily documents.
Some forms and fields are not converted. Program crash sometimes that is quite annoying.
So far we are happy and satisfied with Nitro's performance. And all user's like the fact that they can convert to any file in just 1 click.
My only problem is the excel formatting does not come in the exact form. When converting, the process may fail and the tables formatted in excel never work in a pdf file.
The ease of being able to edit and revise .pdf files without having to convert to a different format is wonderful. I also love the "Quick Sign" feature that allows me to store multiple signatures.
Sometimes it will also convert the text in different fonts, but that may be just a user error as well.
The ability to edit pdfs and save on your desktop. I don't have adobe pdf so this was a great way to edit and sign the documents I needed to.
The file savings or reupload feature can be a little confusing at first for google drive.
I liked the ability to sign documents online and save them as a pdf after.
I think the lumin app is a bit difficult to use.
The software is super user friendly and really helps a lot will all of the work I need to get done quickly.
The cursor/selector tool can be a bit finicky at times, but that's my only (tiny) complaint.
The integration with google drive makes it the best for me. The files can be directly accessed and saved through the drive.
At this moment I do not have any things that I dont like about Lumin.
Grant: Hi, my name is Grant. I'm a financial advisor. I'm the only one in my business and I give Nitro Pro five stars. Before I started using Nitro, I really didn't have any solutions. Adobe's got some pretty basic editing tools for free. There wasn't too much there. So Nitro really helped me to expand the amount of options I had to editing PDF documents. I really like Nitro because it's a one-off fee. You're not having to pay a subscription. You basically just pay a one-time license and you've got it for life. So I've been using my version for years. You do have the option to upgrade, but I haven't, but it effectively lets me do all the editing I need in documents. There's a huge amount of options that you do have. For me, I basically just use it to edit text and search for text on printed documents and things like that, and make little tweaks here and there, but it's got heaps of editing options for those who want to do a lot more. It's actually really, really easy to get started with Nitro. The user interface is pretty self-explanatory. There's not a lot to try and click through unless, again, you want to get through to the nitty-gritty, detailed features. But for those who just want to rotate documents, edit text, add text, all the simple kind of things, everything's super easy to use. So if you've been thinking about getting Nitro, one huge benefit over the traditional options is the fact that it is just a one-time fee as opposed to a subscription. It's got heaps of editing options. You can do the online signatures. It does have upgrades if you do need more features and functionality there, and if you need support, I've contacted them only once in the past, but they were really, really helpful when I needed them.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
