We have had an excellent experience with our assigned representatives and appreciate the constant (automatic!) software updates and Samsara's dedication to meeting DOT compliance as it changes.
The customer service is bad, they charge you even if they send you the incorrect equipment then refused to credit you account.
Our experience with Samsara has been very positive. The customer service has been extremely responsive when I've had a question or concern to help me resolve the issue.
Samsara is such a value additive software, that it dampens my frustration with the many bugs and problems evident in rushed development and poor testing for certain features.
It also helps to keep an eye on the efficiency of my dispatching team and ensure that we are doing the best that we can as a company. I appreciate this service more than I can put into words.

The most useful feature is instant notifications by email or text when an alarm is triggered. GPS location displays are great, and access to video clips is outstanding.
Also could not post a route larger than 20 stops, that is the limit built into Samsara, we can have routes with up to 30 stops in a day.
Super easy to implement, dial-tone reliable, and they keep adding new features but honoring our original agreement.
API is hard to integrate. Sometimes it not working properly in.

I reached out to ipinfo and we were running in less than a day. We have never had to change anything about our implementation, only take advantage of new features if we want to.

Kathy: My name's Kathy. I am the owner operator of KT Ventures. We are an environmental kitchen solution company. I would rate Samsara with a five. Before we used Samsara, we were using another product, and I can't remember the name of it. Was very limited in its application. I had a lot of trouble connecting. One of the other franchise owners in a conversation mentioned Samsara and I gave it a try, and have been really happy since then. I started using Samsara on a personal recommendation, but before I just pulled the trigger, I also researched them online and they seemed to get great reviews, very robust. The product had what I needed for my business. So, getting started with Samsara was really easy. I placed the order, the product came. Fortunately, my son is involved in the business and he and my husband are pretty good with mechanical, so getting it loaded, getting it installed in the vehicle was not a problem at all. We've since bought other vehicles and had to transfer the product, and that's been easy as well. I would definitely recommend Samsara. I can get on it whenever I need to. My business operates 24/7, so it's really important for me at two o'clock in the morning to know where my vehicles are. There is great tutorials, there is great customer support, if I have any questions. My rep contacts me all the time to see if I need anything else, if I need additional equipment, if I need any tutorials or training. Like I said, the best thing about it is the fact that I log in and everything is there and it's very, very user-friendly. So I would definitely recommend it whether you have two cars or 10.
