The customer service is bad, they charge you even if they send you the incorrect equipment then refused to credit you account.

The most useful feature is instant notifications by email or text when an alarm is triggered. GPS location displays are great, and access to video clips is outstanding.
Also could not post a route larger than 20 stops, that is the limit built into Samsara, we can have routes with up to 30 stops in a day.
During integration their customer support via live chat that stays with you on each screen is amazing. It's as good as having an in house IT department in your office working on your system all day.
Occasionally the drivers have problems seeing their load confirmation information. This mostly has to do with our owner/operators.
The training is wonderful, I appreciate the Q&A classes and the structure that is available to learn how to use the system. Your trainer is quick to accommodate and can answer all of my questions.
The long turn around time on errors or fixing bugs/problems.

To many steps to do simple task ( copy orders) wont let you set a new pickup number or customer order number from copy screen). Runs very slow for no reason.
You can really save a tonne of time and effort by using Tailwind to it's full advantage. Easy to use and great to stay organized.
Some edits example adding Trailer types. Can be difficult for us less than computer savvy users.
Kathy: My name's Kathy. I am the owner operator of KT Ventures. We are an environmental kitchen solution company. I would rate Samsara with a five. Before we used Samsara, we were using another product, and I can't remember the name of it. Was very limited in its application. I had a lot of trouble connecting. One of the other franchise owners in a conversation mentioned Samsara and I gave it a try, and have been really happy since then. I started using Samsara on a personal recommendation, but before I just pulled the trigger, I also researched them online and they seemed to get great reviews, very robust. The product had what I needed for my business. So, getting started with Samsara was really easy. I placed the order, the product came. Fortunately, my son is involved in the business and he and my husband are pretty good with mechanical, so getting it loaded, getting it installed in the vehicle was not a problem at all. We've since bought other vehicles and had to transfer the product, and that's been easy as well. I would definitely recommend Samsara. I can get on it whenever I need to. My business operates 24/7, so it's really important for me at two o'clock in the morning to know where my vehicles are. There is great tutorials, there is great customer support, if I have any questions. My rep contacts me all the time to see if I need anything else, if I need additional equipment, if I need any tutorials or training. Like I said, the best thing about it is the fact that I log in and everything is there and it's very, very user-friendly. So I would definitely recommend it whether you have two cars or 10.
