Users who need secure Internet access with ability to change locations with a single click.
Designed for small to large businesses, it is a VPN solution that provides multi-factor authentication for endpoint devices.
It allows me to work worry-free from coffee shops and on shared WiFi, safe in the knowledge that my information is secure and not being snooped on. It's fantastic in that respect, and I trust it.
Very occasionally I seem to lose connectivity and have to disconnect and reconnect, but this doesn't happen frequently enough to be a major problem.
This software offers a free plan with 10 GB of monthly data, which is fantastic. It helps to get experience of the service before committing to a paid subscription.
The pricing model, it has different pricing for different set of countries and amount of data for VPN and it can get a little confusing.
I think the best thing is that you can share your account with unlimited users. So all my family can use a great VPN for a very good price.
Slower than other competitors. When I connect the VPN automatically, the VPN always chooses a poor server a.k.a farthest server instead nearest server based on my real IP.
Windscribe attracted me with their impressive free tier. I was so happy with the service I am now a premium subscriber.
While this is a minor complaint, it bothers me none the less.
It is very reliable and efefctive, connection quality is great and product support team is also great in case of any issue.
Sometimes it refuses to connect and I am not sure if it is of how it was set up or it has some bugs, but the warnings aren't very clear, but that's about it.
It is safe and secure to connect to our Remote Desktop without any hassle. It works perfectly fine under any speed of internet connection.
When disconnecting the VPN and connecting to the new VPN, I often have to kill the process manually which is time consuming.
In case, you have a medium budget, you want to have a great success on VPN solution or access, Cisco Anyconnect will a good choice for you.
Connecting in and out can be a pain if changing networks.
What I like most is mostly how effortlessly it allows us to create a secure connection on Harvard campus, whether we are on campus or working from home, it has been very reliable and I love that.
Have had a few instances where it was failing to connect, but this could be the fault of company network rather than the Cisco app.
Karambir: Hi, my name's Karambir. I'm the CEO. I give Windscribe a four. And for more reviews like this, click the link below. So I tested a number of different products and eventually chose Windscribe. I don't remember the names of the products because it's been a couple of years. But Windscribe came up in a lot of the searches for best VPN, and I found that it met my needs so I went with it. Initially, I just wanted privacy. So I was using Windscribe, the app, on my phone or my computer, but eventually I realized that I wanted to run it from the router in my home office. And so, it turns out that they support OpenVPN. So you get all of the benefits without having to install the Windscribe app on each and every device, which I think is great, and it works like a charm. As far as setting up the app for a phone or a smart device or for the desktop, easy peasy, not really a problem. When I wanted to set up my router to use OpenVPN, I had to do a lot of research on my own. They provided minimal setup for specific routers and specific device combinations. So I had to do a little legwork there, but it was well worth it. I eventually found the documentation and I was able to set it up. So if you're going down that route, you want to do some research first before you actually try and install. If you're thinking about using Windscribe for your business, you want to be aware of, what is your goal? Are you trying to access certain networks in certain countries? Are you just looking for protection? Is there a Windscribe link or a set of servers in your state, or not? Because not all are supported, so you want to have some information about your geographic relationship. And then also, what is the feature set you're looking to have supported for your use?
Anshuman: Hi, my name is Anshuman, and I'm a security engineer. Today I'm going to review Cisco AnyConnect, and I would like to give it four stars out of five. For more reviews like this, click below. I use Cisco AnyConnect to connect to my company's network while I was working from home. The VPN software, Cisco AnyConnect, allowed me to remotely log in to my company's network and access the resources while I was working from home. Something I really like about Cisco AnyConnect is that it is very easy to use, it's very user friendly, it can be integrated with the active directory, and it also supports multifactor authentication, which makes it secure. Something I don't like about Cisco AnyConnect is that in the initial setup it takes a little more time to connect to the corporate network, but after that it works fine. And second thing I don't like about Cisco AnyConnect is the price. It's a little overpriced, I believe.
