It's easy to amend anything that is not quite right and creates an excellent transcript suitable for an academic audience and research records. It worked best for me with Google Chrome.
Once, a transcript error for a video coming from Youtube, the button turned red with Error on it.
It's an really good web editor. Innovative with SEO friendly media embeds, and provides good automated service with a nice group of editing tools.

There were some problems with downloading the audio using a firefox browser. I couldn't get it to work.
Pricing is good, output is fantastic (given my awful input files), the speed of transcription is fantastic. Being able to change input timecode saved my day.
The pricing is a bit confusing but that is a very minor issue if I can even call it that.
I actually look forward to composing letters and writing documents/reports. This format allows me to be creative whilst writing whilst has improved my overall ability to communicate effectively.
The only problem is the punctuation and capitalization - essentially grammar is not always what I would type - some errors that I need to go back and correct.
The accuracy is surprising. I love seeing my words successfully dictated to save me time and improve my quality of life outside the office.
Quite frankly, it slowed my doctors down. The number of errors that occurred were unacceptable.
Overall experience positive - very good performance, excellent support staff, easy billing/payment and quality microphone.
Without the microphone is a little bit more difficult to get accurate dictation.
The ability to use dictation any where I can type is a game changer. The ability to use it to navigate the web, or even launch a program when paired with the windows key to open a search is awesome.
When after a year of trying we asked to cancel our contract. Talkatoo said try a new microphone for three months.

Before Sonix, I was using an open source site called Edison something or other. I can't even remember the name of it. And it didn't quite pick up the words very well, and it didn't have any integration with the program I was using to record. So it was a lot of manual work upfront and after I uploaded the audio file. I decided to go with Sonix after learning about it from someone and then testing it out. And what I found was it had really good speech recognition and could break down the speakers so I could easily identify who was speaking just by looking at the transcription. Including Sonix in my process was pretty easy. It's very easy to create an account and setting it up so that it would automatically receive files from Zoom, which is where I do my recordings. Was really easy. So all I had to do was create the integration and the file automatically moves over Sonix very quickly, and automatically transcribes, and then sends me an email that my transcription is ready. It could not be better. I frequently recommend Sonix to people when they are looking for a transcription service because it is so easy to use and you can create audio clips or transcribed clips with it. It has a lot of functionality that people need when they have audio files that they want to then turn into the written word, which is what the internet pretty much understands at this point. So I would say give it a try, give it a test. I think you're going to find that it's really easy to use and valuable for whatever it is you're trying to create in your business.
