Very good software for monitoring things like server performance or any website performance. Good to operate from both mobile and desktop and customer support of this organisation is very good.
My quibbles are that we have received false alarms on occasion, sometimes caused by their server agents, which have been a little flakey sometimes. Also, the pricing can be confusing.
I love its dashboarding capabilities. And that the monitoring system itself keep track of historical data providing great insight on what is happening.
It is very hard to recover the password once the person who set up the service is no longer with the organization.
Overall we are very happy with this product and all the different options offered by it. We recommend it to any IT personnel.
When you get a phone call that a server of services is down. IT is some times hard to understand what the computer is saying.
Site24x7 can also help you automate tasks like restarting servers or notifying IT staff of issues. This can save you time and help you keep your website running smoothly.
As you have lots of settings available, some times you get puzzled were to configure it properly, for instance when setting up notifications groups/teams.
Business and application wise, everything has been great. We appreciate all the great customer service we have received from George.
Error tracking - when and who is the error owner. Sometimes why the error occurs (I know is up to us to fill the field and we're working on this).
Great price compared to similar software, feature set is pretty decent, interfaces are nice and detailed activity log is super nice.
I can often boot up my laptop, login to our domain, unlock password manager, and login into the opsgenine website before the stupid app will actually display the alert.
Easy to use, accessible, a great asset if your an IT Pro. Friendly interface and its a product that is still in development.
Interface can be a bit confusing at times, making it harder than it should be to do things. Policies can be a bit convoluted to implement.
Very friendly interface at both desktop and mobile versions. Outstanding flexibility in configuration.
One thing OpsGenie is missing is alerts correlation. Basically OpsGenie just receives alerts and notify relative teams according to your notification rule.
Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Philippe. I'm a technical support manager working at Kepler Company, focused on commodities markets. This company is about 200, 300 people right now. Regarding OpsGenie, which is the purpose of this review, I would give it three out of five. We are using OpsGenie as our main alerting system for the on call. Wherever we want people to be paged during the night or on weekends, so basically we use OpsGenie for that and it's doing a great job. What I like the most about OpsGenie, it's basically the reliability of a system. When we have an alert, I'm 100% sure that people who are configured to get the alert will get the alert on time. This is what is the most important and what I think works the most at OpsGenie. On the oversight, what could be improved at OpsGenie is, for me, the most important is VUI. The website is not great. It is slow, and it's very difficult to navigate between the alerts that you received. This is really the main point that could be improved in OpsGenie as far as I'm concerned, because on the other side, the Android application, the iPhone application is great. So it's basically the website, which is slow, not very easy to filter on the alerts. You lose your filters all the time, and you have to redo them. This is really not great.
