The ease of use is wonderful. After working with a larger circ software program, this one seems like a dream.
We were using woocommerce and Subscriptions plugin on our website. It was AWFUL - it took forever, you had to put people in in multiple places, the mailing list wouldn't pull correctly - just AWFUL.
The software has many great features such as address verification that will save you time. The navigation is very user friendly.
The saying, "Garbage in, garbage out" is critically important to bear in mind in circ software. If the user experience is confusing or the management is complex, the exports and reports are doomed.
In a world where great customer service is far and few between, with many making you feel like just a number, we've been extremely impressed with SimpleCirc.
No reflection on it, but I hate even slight learning curves. I want the impossible, which is to hit the ground running.
They have gone out of their way to really help us get our subscription management under control and would highly recommend them to anyone needing subscription service help.
Minor criticism about using it. As a one-man publisher it can seem complicated.
Its my first place fir creating big content like books, magazines, Newspaper, and other content and also add to them amazing designs and creative visuals.
Online integration sometimes being a handicap for people that are living in areas with poor internet coverage.
And complex enough to do great stuff when you are more comfortable with the software. It is reliable and solid.
It has a hard learning curve and has limited features that require you to go to another app.
I love the way i can edit text and books with a lot of details and different styles, i love how its so easy to use and how the software is not to heavy on my computer.
That said, the learning curve for can be steep for someone who has no experience with design products, particularly those of the Adobe Suite.
Used InDesign for many years, both before and after the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription platform. An excellent program, always improving.
The expense and Adobe's inability to play nice with operating systems has always been a pain, and an expensive one.

So with Adobe InDesign, there are a lot of problems that I'm able to solve by utilizing this application. For instance, our school utilizes the application to create desktop newsletters. So these go out to our families, and I use Adobe's InDesign to create these newsletters. So it does a good job of making it easy for me to put together all the text and graphics in one place, and make it look good for the families once we send it out. So it's really easy to use Adobe InDesign. You don't have to have a lot of advanced desktop publishing skills. Really, you just have to have a niche for creating online materials or hard copy materials, such as newspapers and newsletters. And as long as you have an interest in that, it's pretty easy to get on top of all the different tools that Adobe InDesign has to offer. So there aren't many things I'd change about Adobe InDesign, but one thing would be the layout of the tool bars in the desktop publishing view. There's a lot of tools to use, and if they were a little more easier to find, I think that would help make my job a little bit easier. And it would make my job that much faster to get that product out to our families.
