Overall, Adobe xd is an amazing UI designing software that gives thousands of features that just make the overall experience of the software amazing.
When it freezes and you loose what you had just been working on. That typically is a hard thing if you have been working on something for days or hours.
The preview and prototyping features are also wonderful additions. The area to point type buttons are a great addition, which I would like to see in every Adobe product.
You have to install it with Adobe Cloud I find it so inconvenient because you forced to stay in their environment.
It has a lot of tools to save time and a great community to help you if you don't have a lot of experience. Mobile tools are awesome.
The sharing option was terrible and did not update live.
Help with prototyping and structuring documentation in various design types. Help create fantastic interactions for an extraordinary user experience.
You can't push up singular dartboards - you have to push up all which is horrendously inconvenient.
The flow builder works great and there are just a huge number of ways to build logic into the flows. We have a complex UI, and so it is great to have several methods of building logic to fall back on.
There is no way for new user to test the full version of the software before subscribing to the premium version. This is wrong and they should fix it.
Making and deploying the flows was fun - it's like playing a game. Implementation was effortless for our developers.
Limited on what I can access from my mobile phone on Userflow platform. Takes a long time to load and occasionally failing completely to be accessible on my Android OS device.
It is a great tool at a great price. The customer service is great.
Very happy customer, will continue to use the product as we grow and would definitely recommend it to others.
Nicole D.: Hi, my name is Nicole, and I'm a business coach and consultant helping wellness practitioners build thriving brands online. I give Adobe XD a four out of five stars. Before Adobe XD, I was using a combination of Figma and Illustrator. Illustrator worked well enough, but I liked the flexibility of Adobe XD, and the specificity for building websites, and the prototyping abilities. With regards to Figma, I prefer XD over Figma simply because I teach it in a graphic and web design college, and it's so much easier to teach, and to learn as a new student. One of the biggest reasons I chose to continue with Adobe XD was mainly because of its learning curve. It's very easy to learn, it's very quick to pick up, especially if you're already used to the other Adobe products. It gives you all the functionalities that you'd need for basic prototyping, and even more than basic, up to high fidelity prototyping, without all the bells and whistles that other softwares offer which can be useful. But if you're small scale or you're teaching how to do prototyping to new to UX and UI designers, it's an easier tool to use. Especially if you already have a subscription for other Adobe products, Adobe XD is extremely easy to get started with. All you do is add it to your desktop or your mobile device, or your tablet, and it's ready to go. You're already paying for the membership, so there's no extra fees. And so I do appreciate that. If you're thinking about trying Adobe XD for your business purposes, and you're like a lot of people who are a little bit intimidated trying to learn a new software, don't be afraid. Adobe XD is so easy to pick up. Like I said, if you're already using other Adobe products, the interface is so familiar that the learning curve won't take you very long to pick up.
